    The service was very good.

The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly. Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental. Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

Hof, like many places in Iceland, is not really a town but a cluster of houses at the base of a mountain; there are no restaurants or services other than the hotel. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Skaftafell National Park.

Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel. Staff and friendly and helpful, and the meals are good. Adventure Hotel Hof is well suited for the budget conscious traveller. The setting is beautiful, but the town of Hof is very very small. Blink, and you’ll miss it!

Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous villa. The pictures do not do it justice. The villa has just such a wonderful vibe. Location, location, location. The views are spectacular. The architecture of the villa is amazing. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows. Super clean. Villa was comfortable and warm. Fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Washer and dryer available. Comfortable beds. Dining table was huge. Hot Tub! Convenient location between sites in south Iceland. Great communication with host. We were a family of 6.

Staying in our cottage on the Litla-Hof property was breathtaking. We had three bedrooms and a common area; the common area (couches, table for 4, and kitchen) were amazing in the morning--I would come out of our bedroom to the bright light coming in from two directions, one a plain that had horses and beautiful skies and the other an Icelandic green hill with a waterfall and sheep. Incredible. The whole family loved it.

Our family of 6 (3 couples) stayed for one night. This hotel was in an excellent location for us to visit the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon and to hike at the National Park near Skaftelfell. The rooms were very comfortable and an excellent size. We had two rooms - a double and a family room of 4 beds. We had an excellent (but expensive) dinner at the hotel and were delighted with the breakfast the next day.

Very clean room with quite modern interior. In Icelandic comparison for a decent price. Especially in view to the other hotels in the surrounding and they had a nice breakfast Buffet buffet. The restaurant is closed on many days but the hotel staff kept us informed prior to our stay and gave a lot of infos. There are several excellent food trucks or restaurants in the surrounding.

Adventure hotel Hof provided us good value for money. Rooms are small and bathroom is shared but it is clean and has everything you need for a night stay while on the road. Location is beautiful, staff were super nice, breakfast was good and location is excellent. If you are not put off by shared bathrooms than this is a really good place to stay!

Hotel very close to glacier lagoon. Easy check in, everything worked perfect, internet and electricity was available all the time despite the storm that kept us locked up for 2 1/2 days in the property as all roads on southeast were closed. Solrún arranged extra accomodations and meals during storm, she took great care of every guest. Thanks.

The hotel is located in an amazing location very close to all the major glacier attractions and rightfully justify the name adventure hotel since from there you can get to almost any glacier adventure. The restaurant was also very nice, with amazing staff that were extremely nice - overall highly recommended for any visit in the area.

I'm quite surprised by the low reviews this place has. I think you have to understand you're booking a Guesthouse not a hotel. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, the bathroom was newly renovated and clean. There is a fridge/microwave and paper dishes/cutlery provided. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our short one-night stay at Litla-Hof. Clearly it is a place better suited for longer stays and for exploring the area. The views are great, the rooms cozy and the kitchen/bathroom well equiped. I would definitely stay there again. Cleanliness was ok.

This is a truly unique way to experience the beauty of Iceland and specifically the Fjallsarlon lagoon. Our guide took us on a private tour of the lagoon on our way to the Aurora Hut. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with champagne and a spectacular view.
