We booked this hotel a bit last minute due to a storm hitting us in our around Iceland roadtrip and even if it was lastminute, everything was ready and prepared for us. The room had a good size and the food was good both for diner and breakfast.

Apartment was perfect for our group of 4. It has all the facilities, including a dish washer, washing and drying machine, a lot of kitchen cooking stuff! The hot tub was just perfect for us after days of hiking and sleeping in a tent.

We had the house to ourselves! Which was absolutely unexpected but welcomed. The lobby was really cosy and the kitchen perfectly equipped. We love animals , so we felt very good on a farm. The host was really helpful! Booking app didn't send me important informations and for two days we had a problem with Booking services. The host was very kind and very helpful and made sure that we have everyhing we need. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, really hot which was great after a long day in the Icelandic weather. This is my second time staying here and I will be coming back again. Amazing place to stay. Surrounded by mountains and a going for a swim/soak outside is just wonderful. Having a small kitchen area to cook is a real bonus too.

We loved the whole place! The appartement was beautiful, clean and designed with love. And it was calm! I can't remember that I ever have slept as good as at Frostastaðir (part of that were of course the very cozy beds!). Highly recommend this place!

It must be a Wow for this place. The owners build their home in the opposite wing, and some rooms for guests on the other half. The quality of the construction work is amazing, fine finish noticeable on everything, even the tile grouting. To me it feels just like rich people's house. With this price, I can't give anything else but 10 rating (since there is no 11). Place is new and perfectly clean. Certainly worth more than the money.
