A lot of space in the house, beautiful view to the mountains, great friendly and informative hosts, good location for exploring that part of Iceland. In the kitchen, a toaster was also available which we liked a lot! It was not written in the description, but this is part of a farm, which gives an extra feeling of being close to nature. The apartment is attached to the owners apartment, so it is very convenient to reach the owners for any questions. The hosts were very friendly, gave us very useful tips (which hike not to try because there was still snow!) and accommodated all our requests.

Google maps does not show all the roads (very strange but true). Also important. The road from Mývatn to Adaldalur are paved roads. No gravel. A lot of Information on the internet (even road.is) is outdated.
