The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows. I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon. The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you. Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

Nice nature location. Off-roading often required. Would rate it somewhat below Munnar as a vacation outing. Good accommodation and restaurants are hard to come by. A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. Vinu, the property manager is so helpful and caring, a great conversationalist. Beds are comfortable. And rooms are spacious. A lot many options in their food menu( I’m vegan and the chef there was kind enough to accommodate my requests) The whole place has got a positive vibe to it and you just feel happy being there.

Natural stream at a distance of 500 m is a major attraction here. We really enjoyed Monutain hiking and natural walks through the green Valley. Service was excellent. Ideal place for a private stay at vagamon with friends or family. Highly recommended.
