My expectation about Bodh Gaya fell far short of expectation. A world heritage site where so many people even foreigners visit should have been much much cleaner with proper crowd management mechanism.
People visit Gaya for religious purpose. Authorities should remember God lives in cleaner places. Gaya is unbelievably dirty chaotic, traffic is atrocious . I didnt like the place.
If I had better option for pindadaan I would rather go to that place than Gaya.
I will not recommend my children or any one to go to Gaya for pindadaan.
A place of such importance for Hinduism should have been much better.
Gaya gives a very bad and wrong image of traditional India. I am ashamed that this place is visited by foreigners who get a wrong idea about India.

I suggest spending a day in Bodhgaya (close to Gaya) if you're travelling around North India. It is not very touristic, so it can give you another perspective of the country and it is also a "wind of fresh air" after visiting indu temples and mosques: here you can find dozens of buddhist temples, all in the same place! Of course the Mahabodhi Temple is the cherry on top of the cake, we liked it a lot.

People are very honest, diligent and sincere.
People are very honest, diligent and sincere. They are poor yet dependable. Most unhygienic, poor-quality food. The state government has utterly failed in maintaining the sanctity of the holy places.
The monastery and temples are very well and beautifully maintained.
The poverty and illiteracy of the poor people is very well exploited by the successive state governments.

First select a room not by the rating & offers provided in booking.com, if I viewed the review of that hotel in google. I wouldn't have booked it. Pls book a decent hotel while traveling to other States (Book hotels really have all amenities don't get cheated by false offers in booking.com). Money is not important peace of mind is important. If you feel you re being cheated, you can't enjoy the trip.

Main temple in Bodh Gaya is worth visiting.
Main temple in Bodh Gaya is worth visiting. One gets peace of mind and good for meditation. There is great rush in Shradh days. Three wheeler called TOTO battery driven are very comfortable and cheap. These are provided free by the administration in the no vehicle zones i.e. near main temple in Bodh Gaya and near Falgu river ghats and Vishnupad mandir. In other areas these are chargeable.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gaya and recommend to my colleagues .Excellent property and Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic charm. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. Please give staffs awards!

Decent hotel at the centre of the location, team is putting all their efforts to make the guest enjoy the stay, really appreciated. Surprisingly they gave me complementary early check-in which is lovely and overwhelming, Overall nice hotel, clean, good foods, nice staffs. Thanks for making my stay comfortable.
This hotel is highly recommend for all.
The owner is super friendly and he will take care of each and everything.
No facilities at all , only two staff for whole hotel. No room service no breakfast even tea was not available in morning. For dinner i walked 2 km to have some food. No food available in this hotel . Mosquito are everywhere. In the morning staff was sleeping at 8'o clock. So I have to leave key and self check check out. Horrible...... Please don't offer this Hotel in future'....
Closest to Vishnupad temple and Shaktipeet Gauri Maa Temple.
Anurag was very helpful, right from the word go. Arranged food for me before the city slept - it was very helpful. Hotel easy to locate and on the main road.
Very apt for temple visit and local tourist spots to Bhodgaya - closer to station.
If you are in Gaya, this is the place to be.
the manager was horrible and took full money for 3 hrs extra whereas the previous manager accepted half day room rate . light went off , room was dirty no hot water and no electricity at the night crazy piece of dingy shit hotel with horrible staff . the manger was a fraud . we threw money on his face and thank god to not ever see them again
Very clean and big room, I really loved it. Also, the staff of the hotel is very helpful. For example, I needed to hire a taxi driver for a tour in the region, they immediately arranged it. The price is really good for such high quality service.
Rooms are very small AC is not working properly Geyser Not working Staff are not active Even water bottle is not provided only advantage is it is very near to Railway station I won't suggest this hotel So many other options are available
Property owner was cooperative, even my booking was cancelled by him due to overcome discount price ad by Booking.com and Oyo. But he was not honest of his new business in Hotel and lot has to improve in the hotel room amenities.
Healthy Roasted Corn and Juice (name not known to me but delicious) for breakfast, yummy...Tuk Tuk was arranged for me to travel to Bodhgaya, Dungeshwari Caves, Vishnupad temple, Seetha Kund...perfect at-home feeling..
Excellent Service and well behaved staff and team. I really enjoyed by hotel in all aspects. I prefer to visit again. Housekeeping is very nice. Food quality is excellent 👌👌👌👌
Amazing Stay at the place. Proper 04 ⭐ hotel with amazing infrastructure in bodhgaya. Most significant point which I notice is service. Wonderful Experience at place.
There were no such staff like a hotel, one person was manager and everything but he was very caring and helpful.
