The Hotel was Located very close within reach of everything in the city. A short walk upto grafton street. Trams are situated right outside, Temple bar wasn't far to walk to. Taxis are not too expensive either. We did't have breakfast there are plenty of places to get breakfast on your walk upto grafton street.
Blooms Hotel is located in Dublin’s Temple Bar district, 150 metres from Trinity College and Dublin Castle. It has a traditional Irish pub, a nightclub and rooms with flat-screen TVs.

The room was large and airy - very pleasant. The bedding clean and the bed comfortable. The location is perfect.

excellent breakfast
conveniently located near Luas and a short walk from city centre
Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows.
Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows. Great shopping in and around the Square. Very good choice of eating/drinking establishments, except of course if you have allergens such as gluten intoleration or other allergies in which case you might have to go walkabout. Easy access to public transport to just about anywhere in Dublin.

Every thing in the room was nonfunctional, water hearing kettle leaked and water was all over the place on carpet. There was no toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was nice.
They could not accommodate us earlier than the check in time. After a long flight, we had to waste our whole day

Reception was great, genial & professional & fast .
Reception was great, genial & professional & fast .Once I had my key I went to my room on the 3rd Floor by lift.Took me a moment to find the room as the room numbers were inadvertently hidden by a giant sized potted banana plant, beautiful plant. My room was generous given I was solo two beds, the double I used, sleeping like a babe on both nights of my stay. The bathroom was exceptional, large & well-fitted with safety features for both toilet, sink area & shower unit.Non-slip throughout & spotless.

Loved to explore tallaght as nice walks in the area.
Loved to explore tallaght as nice walks in the area. The view from our room was amazing and we got to experience the shamrock rovers game atmosphere wad great!! Only down fall to our trip was no access to the balcony in our room. The room was so hot and also had only tiny windows. This is the only issue that may keep me from returning. With such strong heat even the fans provided in the room were just circulating hot air it was so uncomfortable to try sleep.

My son lives in Tallaght, so I visit the place on a regular basis. I doubt that there is anything really interesting to do or see in Tallaght itself, but you can easily reach the city center of Dublin by hopping on a LUAS Red Line train (20 km, 45 minutes). The LUAS lines are a pleasant and very affordable way to get around.
I've stayed here on a number of occasions before this. It is an excellent hotel and always reasonably priced. There is plenty of parking spaces. The staff are always courteous and helpful. The rooms are air-conditioned, huge, warm, clean, comfortable and quiet. There is excellent soundproofing in the rooms and you can't hear the person next door, or the traffic outside even though it is beside a busy road. I also loved that there were two bottles of water in the room upon arrival, along with the usual tea-making facilities.
A great gem of a place and in a great location if you need to be in and around Tallaght. Easy walking distance to Tallaght Stadium, The Square and Tallaght Village. Easy and quick access to the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. The host Noreen is wonderful and very welcoming. Breakfast is fabulous and delicious and will set you up for the day. Comfortable, safe and welcoming. All good and I am sure I will be back.
Hotel location was good . Food was disgusting in the hotel. Pool stinks and changing rooms are filthy . Mould on walls and a smell out of the drains. Pool area was dirty and the water was cloudy. Smell of sewrage in sauna had to leave.
Gym is really run down and not looked after. Place is in bad condition. Rooms get to hot at night. Showers do not cool so the water was boiling coming out.
Room was clean, super quiet (great sound proofing) excellent location next to the main road and shopping centre for access, food and shopping. Really friendly helpful staff. Excellent parking. Really comfy mattresses and pillows and blackout curtains....a great night's sleep. Great value for money. Great Covid precautions.
Rooms exceptional clean
Had stayed here 4 years ago was a disaster
My stay December 2023.could not have proved wrong
From friendly & helpful staff
Exceptional cleanliness.
Food & service was brilliant will I return, definitely
Very welcoming friendly hotel
We were ideally situated for a day at Tayto Park and a day at zipit forest adventures. The Square shopping centre was great for breakfast, lunch and shopping. We had a beautiful evening meal in the hotel very reasonably priced and tasty,
We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and spacious with comfortable beds. The food was exceptional. Great location in the centre of Tallaght. Would highly recommend.
The hotel was conveniently located right next to the Tram into Dublin, and there were groceries stores in the area as well which made resupply very convenient. There's also restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
The Continental Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The location made it easy to go to the places in Dublin that I was interested in without being in the center of the hustle & bustle of the city.
Very little. Poor location, difficult to find, overpriced for the facilities, hard to get in and out of the parking garage. Only redeeming factor was a nearby restaurant recommended by desk clerk.
The location suited me, I was going to an event in Tallaght Leisure Centre. However the location is close to Tallaght Square and the Luas into Dublin. The WiFi was free and easy to get connected.
Nice room, cool temperature (which I like) and good blackout cutains. Nice restaurant with good selection of dishes. Staff were attentive. Quick check in and great undergroud secured car parking
Adequate room and en suite. More a business than a holiday hotel, but it's huge advantage is that it has a private car park for guests and is right next to tram stops into the centre of Dublin.
Lovely homely welcome from Noreen. Excellent location. Walking distance to all amenities & transport services. Fabulous breakfast. Would defiantly stay again when I am back in the area.
The hotel looks lovely, is in a handy location near the luas and across the road from lots of shops and restaurants while easy to access by car for a visit to Dublin.
