From the moment we walked into the hotel we knew we were going to love it there. It oozes quality and charm. We were greeted with a big Irish welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was gorgeous and the bed, huge and very comfortable. The food - both dinner and breakfast - was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

The room was large and comfortable, and had several features typical to American hotel rooms - desk, ironing board, safe, washcloths. The bath products smelled wonderful. The decor was interesting and up-to-date. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, including fruit and veg, and great coffee. Very close to Kenmare, an easy drive if you needed anything. Nice to run to town to do some sightseeing and then a quick drive home when you were done or needed a break. You could walk to town, but we weren't that ambitious. I would stay here again if I get the chance to go back.

The place is cosy, quiet and only a 10 minute drive to Kenmare town. The apartment was handed tidy and stocked up with everything that we needed to live there for a week. Geraldine has been a super host , extremely easy to communicate with and she's always around if you need anything. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a getaway in Kenmare.
