Very convenient for the Ancient Delphi site.
Room was clean and cosy and the small street facing balcony was a bonus.

Archeological site and museum are well worth the trip, but other than that, there’s no reason to stay more than the morning or afternoon it takes to see those two things. The town is another tourist trap of souvenir stores and basic restaurants with extremely limited parking.

My favourite place in Dephi was definitely the archaeological site, especially the temple of Apollo. We had a wondeful breakfast at Melopoleio every morning, which was followed by a pleasant coffee and beer later in the evening. Delphi has the village in a walking distance both from the site and the museum. However, I would recomment to any visitors to prefer a car as a means of transportation, because there are plenty of villages around the area that are worth seeing.

Great location. A must go.
Great location. A must go. The ruines are great although the stadium was closed. And the museum is really nice. We spent two nights and this was maybe too much. We arrived at 2pm from Athenes by bus. We could have visited the location on the day after and leave back to Athenes with the 4pm bus. Nevertheless, there was a very good restaurant (Taverna Vahkos) so that is ok.

Delphi is a beautiful location, the archaeological site and museum are stunning. The town is very close to the small winter ski resort of Parnassos and the picturesque town of Arachova but also very close to the seaside, Itea and the picturesque seafront town of Galaxidi. Food was really delicious both in Delphi and Arachova. All in all a must-see for visitors to Greece but, also ideal for a weekend or long weekend stay. If you have a car you can see and do so much. You don't even need a car if you are only interested in the Delfoi archaeological site which is a short walk from the town.

A small mountain town with a lot of history!
A small mountain town with a lot of history! Worth a visit, if for no other reason then to see the Temple of Apollo, quite possibly the third most famous landmark in Greece (after the Acropolis and Mount Olympus), where the Oracle if Delphi foretold her prophecies. Be sure to budget enough time to see neighboring Araxova!

Delphi is an impressive site comprising many ruins, some partially rebuilt, others as they were found. To see the entire site requires quite a hike up the mountain(we did not go all the way up) but I was told it was well worth it. The day we went it was quite hot and there is little shade on the site. On a hot day perhaps see the Museum first and see the sight late in the afternoon, or the site early in the morning.
The property was very conveniently located on the main road, leading to the city, and the location was extremely good in terms of providing access to the town by walking as well as having wonderful views from the room itself. The hotel staff were also very helpful, specially Mr Leo, he took time to show us around the property and also the steps on what to do in Delphi, places to eat, attractions to visit.
There was free parking on the street in front of the hotel, so we did not have a problem parking our car
Pleasantly renovated hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and likeable and fulfilled all our extra demands promptly (eg. asking for separate bed covers, leaving our suitcases for a few hours after check out). The view towards the seaside was lovely and we booked a family room for 4 where 2 separate double rooms are connected by a private corridor so kids feel close and safe but also everyone has privacy. Very close to the gorgeous archaeological site (10' walk) and the Mt Parnassos ski resort 40'drive).
Beautifully located at the beginning of the town of Delphi, with a pleasant short walk leading you to the museum and historical site. Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor (especially the gorgeous bathroom tiling) and friendly, attentive and efficient staff. The breakfast was especially good and brilliant value for money. Can't recommend this hotel enough, and we will be back for sure next time we're in Greece.
The view was terrific and they served a nice breakfast. The room was just like the rooms I stayed in 30 years ago when I was an archaeology student in college, traveling through Greece on my studies, so was fun to experience with my kids. The hotel was clean and the people running it were nice. The room was generously sized. Parking was super easy to find on the street. We had a great stay!
Amalia hotel is a landmark hotel in the area, and despite the facilities are getting outdated the essential renovation that happened give you a feeling of living in the 70s but with some glimpse of 2020s luxuries. I liked how they preserved the overall “naked” concrete feeling across the building. Room was comfortable and I strongly recommend to ask for one with a view!
Hotel was very comfortable although a little noisy (but management can’t be blamed for inconsiderate guests). View from the balcony was stunning and it was an easy walk to the museum and ruins.
Also breakfast was one of the most generous we had experienced in Greece!
Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable, AC worked. Bathroom is pretty narrow, but it worked for us. Big plus is parking on premises. Very good restaurant is across the street. Good place to stay when visiting Delphi.
Amazing views, room was really nice, hotel was clean and stylish, staff very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast options. Overall a great stay, better than we expected, and we'd recommend it.
Nice view and the room was big. Old fashion hotel design. Breakfast was quite nice. Beds are comfortable. There is elevator. I would go again. If you look for a modern and luxury feeling its not for you;-)
Loved this hotel. Clean, chill, amazing sea views. Breakfast was delicious, served on the terrace with a scenic view. Restaurant was modern and the service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended.
Breakfast, staff, and view were fabulous. Rooms rather small and dated but in line with expectations of historic area. Parking was a major issue due to road construction, but not the hotel's fault.
Great price in an older hotel. Room was the 4 bed family room. Basic but worked well for us. Quiet and the breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Overall, we'd go back!
