The weekend was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We’ve eaten in the Victoria and visit the area often. Victoria is a grand building which has been updated inside to an exceptional standard. Our room was amazing. Large, beautifully decorated and furnished. It had a veranda overlooking the Menai straits and a bath with a picture window with this view. We were booked in by the most personable front of house / manager of the Victoria. She was absolutely lovely ( I didn’t get her name - sorry as she was 10 out of 10). Food in the evening was to a high standard. Breakfast perfect and the breakfast room again with the view. The beer garden was gorgeous, with the view and so many flowers and greenery. The Victoria is very popular and busy, but loads of room for everyone. There was a leak from our shower and the lady mentioned, provided a free breakfast as our room needed attention. The perfect weekend. We’ll be staying again in the autumn.

The apartment is decorated to a high standard and the sea views from the lounge are amazing. We spent a long time just watching the boats and seeing the tide come in and out. The local area is great for walks too with a marina 100 yards away - with a great cafe (The Swellies). The village also has an excellent pub (with its own Bistro) an easy 15 minutes walk - the Garddfon Inn. The coastal path runs close by too. It's a superb base for exploring the area with Bangor, Llanberis and Anglesey very close by. There's also a total absence of potholes on the local Welsh roads.

Quiet location with a tiny marina looking out onto the Menai straights. Has a lovely restaurant called La Marina which does great tapas. The local pub the Garddfon Inn also does excellent food. The village is a great central location to visit all parts of North Wales.

So many places to visit so we spent a couple of days on Anglesey and a day in Lleyn Peninsular - Llanbedrog was a great place for beach, local gallery/cafe and beautiful coastal circular walk. We ate out at the two pubs. It’s a very easy area to travel around using your own transport or public transport. Excellent location for a few days away.

There was a distinct contrast between the main road with its typical grey pebbledash buildings and the area down around the marina and the beach front. Excellent Chinese take away. Good Thai restaurant and tapas restaurant. The pub was okay but not exceptional. A very good base to explore the area from.

    There isn’t much to do.

There isn’t much to do. For us it was a good option as it was a sea side room not too far from the start of a race in Snowdon. Otherwise I wouldn’t necessarily choose to go back there. It is a real downside not to have breakfast available in the Inn we stayed as there is nothing much really around it- not even a bakery or a cafe that opens early .

The location and the accommodation was great. A really picturesque and peaceful place with amenities. It’s within minutes of supermarkets and really really lovely places to visit, but feels secluded in a nice way.

A very friendly and welcoming pub offering good food and a well-stocked bar situated on the bank of the Menai Straits. The room (we stayed in the twin) was excellent. Clean, tidy and plenty of room, with an equally impressive en suite. Plenty of power points with USB connectors and the usual tea/coffee facilities. Y Felinheli is a very queit village, on the Menai straits. With few shops. Offers a great restaurant and cafe in the harbour area. Great location to explore North Wales.

From the warm welcome we received through to the farewells the hospitality was excellent, the hotels location offers stunning views of the sea and marina. Breakfast bags were available on request which were well stocked and gave plenty of choice, unfortunately cooked breakfast wasn't available during our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and keep immaculate, the room had a fridge and fan plus everything you would expect to have.

We loved our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The room is above a restaurant/pub which we actually enjoyed. It wasn't loud and it was convenient being able to grab a beer or some food. It's a nice little town right on the water. They don't offer private parking, but you don't need it since there is always plenty of parking on the street in front.

The staff were amazing. Room was nice, clean, water view but on the small side for 2 people with a carryon suitcase and backpack each. Restaurant/bar was very busy but they accommodated us (we booked the room last minute) and the food was very good.
