The location and the gardens were beautiful. The warer pressure in the shower was fantastic.

We stayed at the pub overnight, with our dogs.
We had stayed before, a couple of years ago, but my - what a difference!
We were given a newly, beautifully refurbished room (literally just across the road) with an enclosed little garden for the dogs - we were also able to make use of the garden chairs and table to have a smashing ‘just arrived’ coffee. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud, the tea/coffee facilities excellent, and bathrobes too!! And a minibar (not that I made use of it, but would’ve if I’d been there any longer). There is a lovely little bistro table and chairs just outside the front door for you sit on and have a drink too.
The pub itself - well the decor is amazing, so inviting and calming. Beautifully done, I really really like the plants, it’s like being outside, but inside -yet not overpowering.
Food was excellent, we each had a Chilham burger. I had white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake for dessert (delicious) and my husband the salted caramel ice cream.
He found the ice cream a little ‘warm’ (??!!) but still delicious and told this to the lovely young lady (Molly?) who collected our plates - next thing we know she approached us and said she’d mentioned this to chef and it was because it was homemade, and so not full of additives.
We didn’t expect the throwaway comment to be taken so seriously, and were really impressed that it was.
In fact we were really impressed with the service we received from all the staff whilst there. Polite, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Made us feel so relaxed.
And finally, I cannot leave a review without mentioning the dogs. It is a VERY dog friendly pub, and we were given a dog welcome pack - a ball, treats and a couple of poo bags. All dogs welcome, and the resident dogs are absolutely wonderful - so laid back and always up for a fuss.
So, safe to say, we will be going back there as soon as we are able and would recommend this place to anyone, with or without dogs.

It was really clean and practical. The host was helpful when we needed information on using the facilities. Extra towels were provided when requested

A delightful village, just off the beaten track that feels like it is some sort of time warp. A great place if you want to slow down for just a little while. This was our third visit, and we look forward to many more.

We loved the whole experience.
We loved the whole experience. Excellent breakfast, lovely room, very helpful and friendly staff. We found the shower wet room drain slow and made the whole floor wet but we managed without incident. Did not spoil our stay. Would visit again,

Peaceful. Grew up in Wye so maybe I'm biased.
Peaceful. Grew up in Wye so maybe I'm biased. Apart from imperial colleges attempts to destroy it when they left leaving a few eye sores, the people of Wye continue to just keep carrying on.
Check the church, the local shops and the fantastic local walks and views

Wye looks like a charming village.
Wye looks like a charming village. There are lots of walks around, and the old building and churchyard are interesting. I was on foot and it was very convenient for North Downs Way. It would probably make a good centre for visiting surrounding attractions - there are a number of other pubs and eateries tehre.

Only drove through it on the way to our hotels as we were off to France and we only stayed B&B for one night. Looked a pretty village and I think there were some other options for food as the New Flying Horse couldn't offer us food on the night of arrival due to staff shortages which was sad.

Nice and quiet but easy travelling to Kent attractions.
Nice and quiet but easy travelling to Kent attractions. Local coop for basics with pubs and restaurants which we did not use. Nice feel to the town with no adverse issues we could see. We spent our time (eating and drinking that is) at our own hotel - it was just what we wanted.
The New Flying Horse is a lovely historic inn in the charming town of Wye. Our room was so comfortable and nicely presented, with treats to go with our tea. We had a great dinner, which we had reserved when we booked our room. Special shout-out to Rachel, our server, who had excellent suggestions for us and was very attentive during the meal. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice, with Gary as our cheerful morning host. First rate all around!
the property is in a very convenient location as this is a country side area. the food from the restaurant is amazing! the breakfast so fresh and the quality was something special. my wife an i were impressed about the quality. the room where we stayed was extremely clean and cozy, bed very confortable and the shower very big. we would definetely stay in this place if we go back to kent-ashford-canterbury area.
Very comfortable room with everything provided. Pleasant bar and restaurant where we enjoyed our dinner. Good choice of food with a good atmosphere, busy for a Monday night. Sadly we didn’t stay for breakfast but looking forward to having it on our next stay soon. Very convenient for the channel tunnel and made a nice change from the chain hotels nearby
Spacious room and bathroom. Very good restaurant in the property, the chef served som amazing sauces to accompany great meals.
Lucy in the restaurant was exceptionally good and gave fantastic customer service. They provided good a take away breakfast as we left before the main breakfast started
If we were to do a hotel we would model it on this place !
Small intimate boutique hotel in a lovely location.
Staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay very enjoyable.
We stayed in a double room, which although small, had everything we needed.
Food was excellent, as was the selection of wines.
Highly recommend this restaurant with rooms.
All hotel facilities excellent staff great, coffee particularly good, dinner didn’t quite meet expectations or value for money, good starter, main tasty but tough, pudding tasteless shop bought pastry base
Comfortable room with view of village and countryside. Lovely location in centre of village. Loved both dinner and the excellent breakfast at this hotel.
