We received a free upgrade on our room which was nice of the owners. It's always a lovely stay here. So relaxing and a great escape when you have a night free from the children. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Check in details are sent to you prior to arrival and are trouble free. I will always use Deer Park Farm when I get the opportunity
Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Solihull is one of the better areas of the West Midlands and offers a pleasant stay and local amenities. Parking in central Birmingham is not easy but a local bus (Route 6) stops right outside the hotel and runs 8 times an hour weekdays, 6 on Saturday's and 4 on Sunday's. In the other direction this runs through to Solihull.
This city of Birmingham has lots to see and plenty of shops including the Bull Ring for those looking for a bit of retail therapy.

The hotel is in Knowle, on the outskirts of Solihull. Lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fantastic Artisan
Bakery for sandwiches and deli items. Very convenient to get to NEC. Good walks down the Grand Union Canal.

Charged more money than when we booked through booking.com paid for 3 rooms and all on different floors. Said we had to pay extra for breakfast and charged us £155 a family room which wasn’t a family room no child bed was made up. Room full of marks on walls and ceiling. Ask to speak to manager and no manager was working on Saturday ! Really disappointed with village hotels we expected it to be as good as the Elstree one couldn’t be so different.

Solihull is a nice place but I would advise anyone going with a party of 3, booking for 3 ADULTS and expecting 2 bedrooms should ring up and check to make sure it's for 3 adults and 2 bedrooms.
The Hotel is right in the middle of the Knowle 'village' shopping area which has many interesting and specialist shops, cafes and restaurants, and is only a few minutes drive south from the M42 Solihull junction. Room was clean, well appointed and reasonably priced for September. Check in and out was smooth. Shower was powerful enough and the bathroom was good with an adequate sized bath. Handy having a large pub bar/restaurant on the premises, but didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
The apartment was clean and modern. The entrances are clean, welcoming and secure. There is plenty of parking on site.
The apartment block is in a good location, within walking distance of Solihull town centre. Our host Charlie Grieves, sent us details of how to get into the apartment, the number of our parking space and how to operate the heating, the day before we arrived.
Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room nice, bed very comfortable with nice bedding, small compact bathroom but clean and modern with nice white towels, toiletries. Nice picturesque setting and a very short taxi ride into the centre of Solihull. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was good.
Lovely location. Nice grounds to walk in with small lake and fountain. Outside dining area & bar looked great. Shame the weather wasn't fit for it to be used. Our room block looked almost brand new - very clean & sharp. Very comfy. Like Prem Inn really.
Will definitely stay again when the opportunity arises.
Lovely place to stay has everything you could need. Will definitely book again when next in area. Great communication with host via email. Smooth check in/out. Perfect little find if you don't want hassle of hotels or busy b & b's.
We had a lovely break at The Limes Country Hotel near Solihull recently
The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. The rooms were really comfortable and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Would recommend
The accommodations and especially the staff were absolutely wonderful. My wife and I were traveling abroad from California and found this hotel as an amazing stop through England. We would strongly recommend.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.. Also enjoyed the food on sight. All the family enjoyed the leisure activities. I would highly recommend the Village Hotel Solihul. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing.
Cheaper room than the budget hotel chains in Solihull and pretty much the same level of room and hotel. Breakfast was included in our room price and was abundant although hashbrowns were burnt. Friendly staff.
The room was large and well set out. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet during the night. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking 2 minutes walk to large shopping centre with several restaurants.
Great quality hotel in a really convenient location. I only stayed for one night but was very comfortable and the services the hotel offered were great. The breakfast was really good too.
Tea and scones were amazing. We were there for a wedding and that all seemed to go amazingly well - great food. A lovely small hotel with beautiful grounds.
