In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

The outside looks pretty cool . The inside has an odd smell like too many fish meals. There isnt an elevator so prepare to carry luggage (not a big deal for us as we had light bags). Not a cozy place but has so much potential if there was someone who could put some work in to it. The little porch has potential There two beds in our room. one was very hard , one was okay. Bathroom was a throwback to another era. Toilet was fine. Window ...we had a hard time closing it at first but noticed all the rooms seemed to have the bathroom windows slightly open. We however did like the server at the restaurant . She was lovely and so helpful. The woman at the front desk when we were leaving, Nora, was an absolute gem. We had a good chat and laugh with her. Often it's the people who make it better. She and the server both were great. My daughter and I were only there for a night and there is a lot to see if you have a car (we did) and the drive is about 15 minutes or so from approachable points to Loch Ness. But there was a lovely old castle ruins to explore 12 minutes away and the little town is very cute. New area of townhomes was going up and definitely a cute area. I think if someone had the money to do a great reno on this hotel it could be absolutely amazing. One bonus was that it is very quiet and maybe it is just a slow time of year but didn't seem to be a lot of people around.

Stayed for one evening.
Stayed for one evening. Staff were rude, place was a glorified shed. Road up was hard work on motorbikes. Too far out of town. Grounds were unkept, Sheds were neglected.
Clunebeg too expensive for what it was.

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.
The Glen Bed & Breakfast is located at the very heart of Drumnadrochit but our room was still very quiet. Restaurant and cafes could be easily reached by foot. Our room with the attached en-suite bathroom was spacious and clean, the host made sure that we had everything we needed. As a vegan I was very delighted to have a breakfast with so many plant based options like oat milk, yoghurts, vegan cheese and vegan ham. Would definitely recommend!
Sarah is a fantastic host, and this is a wonderful place to stay. We felt like we were at home with a living/dining room, full kitchen, patio, spacious bedrooms with separate bathrooms, and a washing machine! This has been a long trip for us so we badly needed clean clothes! The location is easily accessible to Loch Ness. There are also some good places to eat and a small grocery store nearby. We loved our stay here.
Angela our host was terrific. she even offered to drive myself and my wife into town for dinner at the great Fiddlers whisky restaurant and pick us up several hours later in the evening. Angela did everything she could to make our stay relaxing, fun and memorable. There was also a fantastic lounge with great views over Loch Ness which we used in the evening for drinks. We will definitely return for a long stay.
Lovely property , with large spacious rooms, amazingly comfortable bed, incredible views, and a tremendous host. Close to Inverness and Drumnadrochit, but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of other tourists. Property benefits from a great outdoor space to relax in and an excellent Italian restaurant less than a minutes walk away. Couldn’t recommend this enough , you won’t be disappointed
The location was stunning, so close to Loch Ness, it was so peaceful and the lodge was clean, had everything you would want for a self catering holiday, Inverness was close with all the restaurants and take and culture you would hope for, we spend a day at Ben Nevis and we’re blown away with the beauty of the landscape of Scotland. Thank you Simon for meeting us at such a late hour due to a 14 hour trip
Size of room, cleanliness, well furnished with tasteful decor. Bed very comfortable and wonderful view of Loch Ness to wake up to. Plenty of sitting areas for relaxing with a book and a drink. Breakfast was excellent although no donner option on the lodge itself. Dinner can be booked in the restaurant of the hotel next door less than 5 mins walk away.
Having spent a weekend here before we had no hesitation booking a room again. The menu for the restaurant offers great food and we were stuffed when we left the table. We required to leave for an activity early in the morning and were offered an 'early' full cooked breakfast to set us up for the day.
Great location on the outskirts of Drumnadrochit.
Really nice and cosy restaurant with lovely evening meal and atmosphere.
All staff were friendly and welcoming.
Great coffee at breakfast.
Nice courtyard to sit outside in and have a drink.
Easy to find and good parking.
The Hotel is really on the Loch Ness side, close to the local harbour where you can take a cruise on the loch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A good choice for a 1 night stopover to visit the Loch Ness area. The breakfast, which was included, was really good!
The staff and location of the Inn closed to Loch Ness was excellent. The inn and attached pub were great for dining and we enjoyed the Scottish "Jam Session" but some musicians that helped pass the night away. The rooms were nice as was the breakfast.
The staff were all really nice.
Laundry service was a bonus and parking was easy and convienient.
We were able to walk to the castle which was nice.
There was also a really good restaurant in a hotel right across the main road.
The food at breakfast or when dining was really good. Although dining and drinks in the evening were a little pricey compared to other restaurants we ate at. The hotel was clean and decor was traditional if a little dated.
The hotel was just perfect. We stayed in the old part of the building and while everything was a bit old it created a nice flair.
We would recommend to anyone who does not expect a modern hotel.
Staff was super friendly :)
I'm very content with my stay in this hotel.
Cosy room, very friendly staff (always willing to help) and great location with access to shops/pubs/ restaurants & public transportation.
The hotel facilities are of a moderate standard. However, the restaurants in the vicinity are of a high standard. Personally, I think it was the best meal I had in Scotland.
Beautiful place, and the staff were so kind and friendly, i came to see loch ness, when i arrived i had tire pressure signal, the helped me with that, thank you so much
The hotel room was very good, comfortable, clean and lots of space and the bathroom was modern and excellent shower cubicle. Food in the restaurant was very good.
