Lovely and cozy hotel. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our room. The room was extremely comfortable, with lots of space and a big bed. Our waiter at dinner, He-man, was beyond exceptional to us and everyone in the dining room.
In Crickhowell, the Dragon Inn has views of the mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, a full cooked breakfast and free parking.

Great location in the town, but nice and quiet in the room.
Located in Llangattock, the Old Rectory Country Hotel is located in Brecon Beacons National Park, a mile from Crickhowell. The hotel offers free parking and WiFi.
Get away from it all at this hotel high on the side of the Black Mountains, overlooking the Usk Valley and the surrounding hills.

It Is a beautiful place. It is old but very well maintained. We felt very comfortable there. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly. Really nice sauna with cold shower - excellent after hiking.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back:)

The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it !
Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful !
Unfortunately the lady on the reception desk when we arrived was not so pleasant, kept talking over me which is found very frustrating.

Lovely small, vibrant town with a good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink and small independent shops. Nice local history too with the Crickhowell Bridge and the ruins of the castle in town as well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The Bear is very central in a delightful little town.
The Bear is very central in a delightful little town. Ample parking. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. It was a well.motivated trained happy team. Always busy with guests and locals but it ran very smoothly
Kestrel Inn is well-sited and overlooks the scenic Cwmdu valley. The Inn and its rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are welcoming with much-needed advice on places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was cooked by the owners, which we appreciated greatly, and dinners were found in the historic village of Crickhowell, which is only a 6 minute drive away. The Inn is well-placed to explore Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bicycle, with quiet country lanes starting literally over the road.
Absolutely lovely accommodation - the Loft suite was a huge room plus the entrance and dining area and bathroom. Really comfortable bed and it is really as roomy and pleasant as it looks in the photos. Plentiful breakfast to enjoy in the room including fresh berries. We liked being a walk from Llangattock and Crickhowell - it’s a pleasant stroll down to the Horseshoe Inn and back but felt more ‘breathing room’ being set in a quieter location away from the town centre. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful characterful old place. Our room, no.25 was in the attic with old beams and very spacious. Comfy beds and clean.
The toilets in reception were spotless, the breakfast was spot on and our evening meal was delicious.
Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful, recommending walks and ciders!
Would definitely stay here again as the location was perfect and to top it all off the weather was glorious.
Many thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to be back.
We booked a room with mountain view and we got a lovely view from our window. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well decorated. Our host was very welcoming. Our delicious breakfast was cooked to order. There was also fruit and cereal available. There was a private covid-safe lounge available where we also had breakfast and our evening meal. The hotel was near to Crickhowell, Brecon and Abergavenny which were good places to visit.
Great staff, a stunning location and beautiful hotel. The location is really beautiful and having stayed in a few places nearby, can confidently say this was my favourite. My younger brother lost his wallet at the hotel and not only did the staff track it down, they let me know as soon as they found it and posted it first class the same day. The morning breakfasts run like clockwork and the rooms are spacious, comfy and clean.
Everything went well, the staff was very friendly and kind, and the room was very nice. Every single question we had was answered nicely or they checked for us to help.
The hotel is located on the top of the hill and has fantastic views with no traffic or noise other than birds of tree leaves moved by the wind.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor Hotel, we will definitely back with more friends!
We wanted a place to stay near Crickhowell so we could start our walk first thing in the morning, and this inn definitely exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend you eat there in the evenings, they have great Jamaican food. The breakfast is described as continental but is better than the average continental breakfast as there are also crumpets/waffles/pastries etc.
An excellent staging post on a business visit to West Wales, but also would be a marvellous location for a longer stay in the great landscape of the Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons. Very helpful and friendly staff, good range of tasty choices for breakfast and comfortable bed. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Very helpful hosts. Brilliant location and house. Ideal for us and another family with 4 pre-school children. Lots of space inside (garden smaller than expected but lovely) and quite soundproof. One of the bedrooms had a little extra section that was perfect to fit our son's cot in so he couldn't see our bed!
Beautiful flat with lots of light. Lots of space. Great location to the Brecon Beacons with some excellent pubs and shops nearby. Thank you for the milk(!), the little maps & tips around the area and for helping us get into the flat! I will definitely stay again when I'm next in the area.
Lovely period cottage, nicely decorated and the kind of holiday home I love staying in. Beds were really comfy, great bathroom and nicely decorated. Well placed close to the main area. The staff at the Dragon inn were exceptionally helpful and handy to be able to park there.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and very dog friendly. Meals were excellent.
Accommodation in lovely courtyard, very good size room and ensuite.
definitely recommend
Absolutely adorable place with stunning views, helpful and friendly staff and tasty breakfasts. Hotel inside is very cozy with its own interesting history. Very close walk to Crickhowell.
The guesthouse was lovely with a pleasant communal sitting room. We walked along the canal to the Horseshoe Inn in Llangattock for a fantastic evening meal.
