Food was superb, location is brilliant. However for £300 odd per night you don’t expect black grouting in the shower or a dirty toilet, other than that a very comfortable room.
Set in Broadford, 14 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, House of Juniper offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. The hotel has a sauna, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

Very spacious room and great bathroom. The bed was great and it was overall very comfy. The food from the restaurant was not the typical Scottish food which was great for a change and it was really good ! 👍

Lovely apartment with view. Neat, clean and tidy. All the necessary was available.
Breakfast was not included even though it would not take much to include it in the price. just a biscuit, tiny packet of cereal, sliced bread token of jam and some milk in the fridge (we had this all in our apartment in Inverness all included)

Friendliness of staff and nice clean rooms, plus excellent location.
Nice place and good gift shops and lovely views.
One thing which was awful was the harbour restaurant- thought we would treat ourselves to good meal as advertising in window slow cooked lamb. Overpriced and underwhelming and very rude owner. Do not waste your money here !!

We liked Nothing about the Lodge or surroundings if you are happy to have WEEDS around your lodge and DUSTBINS as a view and don't mind being behind a Hostel and Undertaker, then go for it. The lodge was not equipped for 3 audults, very small, we found 1 frying pan 1small pot, there was no brush to sweep floor, the kitchen units are dated and not fitted well. The showers were tiny. To Sum up initially looks good, but very poor on closer inspection. This is without a doubt nothing but a WORKHORSE TO MAKE as much money out of the guests who stay at this property. Whoever owns this property needs to get their act together as the 6 lodges are no more than an extension to the hostel. GIVE THIS PROPERTY A WIDE BERTH For 4 uncomfortable nights we paid just under £1200, and I do intend to take this matter further with the owner.AA.

Broadford is a boring "wide spot in the road" with little to "recommend" it. The highlight is the bus transfer station AND THE ONLY Co-Op full service grocery store...be sure and stop...few or no other choices. Keep on going...the scenery and driving on Skye are all better away from Broadford.

Beautiful location, very attractive little village, lots of places to stay and eat especially in season. Good starting point for all the trips we made over three days. Hebridean Inn best for food but Broadford Hotel worth a visit.

Broadford is well situated for a visit to Skye and also to take the wee ferry to Glenelg in the summer. It is a very small town with a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a co-op and nice places to walk a dog by the shore.

That the place we chose, the Cottar was just the sort of cottage for us-simply furnished with not too many mod cons, making us feel that our carbon footprint wasnt too high and that the cottage reflected the beautiful natural surroundings.
The view over to Scalpay was superb. The cottage was so near the sea that we were able to launch our kayak easily and just step into the water for a swim.
This was an excellent hotel! We were able to get a last minute reservation and the owner put us on a large handicap accessible room with a kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bath. Everything was quite clean and the location of the property is in a farm like area just outside of the town of Broadford. We did not get a chance to see the rest of the mansion rooms or the unique cabins, but the location was wonderful. It would have been nice to stay here for several days. Highly recommend!
The property is self-catering with kitchen basics provided, which made for a more relaxing stay than B&B accommodation. The cleanliness, space downstairs, fresh decoration and modern facilities including a downstairs toilet, living room TV, washing machine, dishwasher and added to the comfort of our stay. The location is good with a Co Op supermarket and filling station nearby in Broadford and it's not far from either the Skye bridge or ferry from Mallaig.
It's a hostel, likely more comfortable for the under-30 crowd. Short walk from Broadford bus stop. Interesting and diverse crowd; many languages. Staff is great. Rooms basic but decent. Shared bathrooms clean and numerous. Common kitchen and eating area far superior to most "nice" hotels and B&Bs. If you're ready for the hostel experience, this is a very good place.
A very comfortable and clean hostel on the Isle of Skye. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are willing to help you and recommend places to visit and eat. Close to the hostel there are several restaurants, a large supermarket and the cheapest petrol station along the way. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, as are the rooms.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice cereals, cooked foods or toast etc yogurt and or fruits. The view of Skye from the restaurant is beautiful. The hotel bar area is vast with plenty comfortable chairs and booths to sit in, the overall feel of the hotel is of a clean friendly efficient comfortable establishment.
Location, location, location. The charming tiny home (2 small trailer-houses) is right on the water. Seriously, you can throw a rock into the sea from the front steps. A beautiful view of Skye and the nearby mainland. We were lucky enough to have clear skies one night to see so many stars. Really amazing location.
Didn't even expect such lovely decorated and spacious lodge, as I have not seen photos on the website. Kitchen well equipped with dishes and utilities. Comfy sofa and beds with fresh, clean linen. Bug free. Perfect location in the one of biggest villages, great if you are about travel across whole Isle of Skye.
The view was beautiful and you could lie on the bed and look at it. We were on the top floor 3. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very convenient position for visiting Skye. Try the “outdoor” cafe Lean To down the road. Excellent coffee and toasties.
This is a very charming hotel with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Breakfast was good. The staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming! The deluxe room was spacious and pretty. It had a kettle with coffee. The bar was nice to have a drink at the end of the day.
All the hostel rooms were very clean and tidy.
Good location in skye island.
The staff was extremely generous and friendly. They helped us fixing some car problems and talking in English to the road assitance. We will recomend this place to anyone!
The cottage was in a great location for touring Skye. It was decorated well and an easy walk to Hebridean Inn for dinner. We also went to Red Skye for dinner another night and it was terrific.
