The Old Library & Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and water sports facilities in Arisaig. With free WiFi, this 3-star inn offers luggage storage space.

This B&B offers fabulous views of the water as well as dinner and breakfast. We arrived after dark, but it was still easy to find; it was so late, the restaurant kitchen was about to close, but they accommodated us, and we had a wonderful, hot dinner. The dining room was cozy and warm, a wonderful place to come home to on a chilly, blustery night. We would recommend this place.

Innes House Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Arisaig

Providing free Wifi, private parking, and a garden, the recently renovated property Innes House Bed & Breakfast offers rooms in Acharacle, 30 miles from Glenfinnan Station Museum and 29 miles from...

We rarely hand out a perfect score. Here is why we could not do any other way. The breakfast was excellent. The lady of the house Liz, cooks the breakfast herself at the time you wish. Do not be late, since she takes great care in serving excellent tasting food, with home made jams in the conservatory, with a view of their very green garden. The house is beautifully decorated with pictures by Innes, the husband of Liz, who has a talent for photography. You can buy the pictures framed for a very fair price. The room is superb; everything is their in the right proportions designed with care and in a British tradition, excellent beds and great shower. The place is so clean. The friendliness and interest in their guests is what stands out most. Innes drew several special maps for us, so we would not miss the things we wanted to see and experience the best of the Highlands. They are so willing to make your stay the best you can imagine in Scotland. And that is what they did: the best stay!

On the morning of our departure the weather was stunning and visitors to Arisaig were sitting on the benches at the waterfront taking in the tranquil scene. Loch Morar must be a superb spot in the summer. Would have considered a boat trip to the Small Isles if we had been staying in the summer. Cafe was good. Real community feeling to Arisaig. Old Library best place to eat. The road from Arisaig to Fort William is stunning.

Excellent area to be based in.

Excellent area to be based in. The scenery and beaches are first class. It is within easy distance to Mallaig, Fort William and many other attractions in the area such as the Jacobite Steam Train and Glenfinnan Railway Viaduct and Monument. Excellent choices of food - highly recommend the restaurant in The Library - first class service and food. Boat trips and ferries leave for the islands at the harbour as well.

The property was located in a idyllic location and is exceptionally clean...the owner was very helpful and friendly...a place never to forget.. You will need a car to enjoy the beautiful surroundings...take the ferry over to the Isle of Skye..The Old Library restaurant on Arisaig needs to be booked in advance, but is worth it...so is the bay opposite.. The only downside is the need to purchase petrol either in Mallig - when they have it or travel an hour to Fort William...

Access in and out of the Village was very easy.

Access in and out of the Village was very easy. It is located on a main road and there is a train station there. Arisaig is a small village that is easy to access. We ate at the Old Library, highly recommended, and the pub, also good specifically when live music is featured. Food ordered from the Seafood Shack was really teriffic and beautifully presented. The little tea room at the harbour provides lovely views and wonderful snacks. The favourite destination is the Visitors' centre offering an in depth history of the are, its residents and some very interesting artifacts.

Beautiful little village with amazing veiws and walks. an outstanding pub the Arisaig hotel where the staff look after you like an old friend and food is fresh. Friday night at the hotel is music night, traditionally played by very talented musicians, not to be missed. Friday's are fresh days, seafood shop and bread shed open the bread was unbelievable best to order ahead On Saturdays the bread shed turns its skill to wood fired pizzas although we didn't have a chance to try them the word on the street is unmissable.

    We loved it!

We loved it! Daily boat trips to the small isles from Arisaig and wildlife cruises etc available from Mallaig just up the road. Traigh Golf Course - friendly and challenging (especially when the wind was up!) Loads of places to walk (or cycle) and there’s a small train station. Local Spar shop in Arisaig and a bigger Co-op in Mallaig about ten minutes away by car. Couple of cafes down by the waterfront and dining available in the hotel and restaurant.

The location along a small commercial strip in a waterside town was pleasant enough, and we did have a good view out our window. The room was large, well appointed and relatively comfortable. The bathroom was up to date, with very unusually good water pressure in the shower (thought they should have furnished a bathmat). Dinner was very good--especially fish (haddock) and chips (according to my wife), all with fresh local ingredients. Prices were reasonable given the amount of inflation we are seeing in Scotland everywhere.

We loved the remote location, views of the sea and countryside with a highlight of the deer visiting most days. Cottage is comfortable and well equipped, we loved having a fire of an evening. Dogs had plenty of room to roam and we enjoyed walking to the sea.. Staff very friendly and helpful. The balcony was perfect to sit and relax. Beautiful local beaches and excellent places to eat in Arisaig and Mallaig. Easy to catch the Harry Potter Train near here to go over that famous viaduct.

Keepers pod is the perfect little stay for a couple and our dog. Host was wonderfully helpful with recommendation for walks and local beaches and a pub to watch the football in. Complete guide to the area in the pod which was a lovely read and very generous tea, coffee, fresh milk and nibbles for breakfast all included. Only stopped at Arisaig for a night but would recommend two or more if you have the time and the keepers pod is the place to stay!

From the first contact with Pete( the owner) I knew we had made the right choice, Pete was friendly and approachable, his knowledge the immediate area around Arisaig, the Highlands and the Islands was helpful and accurate, the room and bathroom was clean warm and dry, we wanted for nothing, breakfast was great Pete knocked us up a full Scottish breakfast, copious amounts of coffee, toast and chat.

After a last minute ferry cancellation we were delighted to see that Kilmory was available at short notice. The house was clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful spot in Arisaig. We promptly received a phone call from the host to make sure we had the instructions for check in and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay and we’d love to come back again.

Great location with a beautiful view of the water. Amazing staff who were very friendly. Check in/out were a breeze and the rooms were well equipped. However, the meals were the star of the stay. Some of the best sticky toffee pudding we’ve had during our 8 days in Scotland. Breakfast was equally good, and everybody in our group was able to find something they liked.

The location is ideal, right in the centre of the village, great as a base to explore the area. The breakfast was good and the dinner was excellent with a good range of options and specials. The hosts are very warm and create a relaxed environment. The rooms had been recently refurbished and of a high standard. We were round the back in the annexe and it is very quiet.
