The overall experience of staff, the facilities and general atmosphere of the hotel were excellent. It was my wifes’ birthday during our stay and the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate the event.

Location of the apartment almost on the beach is perfect. You have nice restaurants just around the corner. Owners are very nice, accepted our later arrival and waited to give us the key and show the apt.

The property is located in an older building with plenty of charm, and is fitted with modern comforts like a newly renovated bathroom and walk-in shower. Some great facilities are provided, I particularly liked the rooftop area with a view of the old town, and I spent a morning there, reading and enjoying a complimentary cup of coffee.
The location – halfway between the old town and the castle and church at the top of the hill, and the beach at the bottom – makes this property the perfect base for exploring Salobreña.
I had to leave my bags at the property for a few hours after check-out time, and the host generously gave me an extra key for the front door so that I could come back for my bags at any time.

Great location in the old town with a stunning roof terrace with views of the town and the sea. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the only note is there is no parking nearby and we had to street park away from the apartment and there are very steep steps up to the apartment, this was fine for us but anyone with a disability would find it tricky.
Fully kitted kitchen, excellent wifi, complete bathroom and beautifully decorated, the host was friendly and on the end of the phone if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.

Salobreña is a very small town.
Salobreña is a very small town. As such, there is not a lot to see or do. The beaches are excellent, and the old town merits a visit. However, a 24 hour visit here was probably enough unless you wish to spend several days on the beach.

Solobrena in March was very peaceful and quiet and that's what we loved about it. The apartment is perfectly located in the centre between bus station, old town, and beach, each about 10-15 mins walk. The castle is well worth a visit and the beach very relaxing. The apartment is only a 2-4 minutes walk from two supermarkets and a street away from the local market which sells delicious take-away food. We stayed three nights and in the middle of a trip took the bus to Almunecar for the day to go to the castle and museum in the old town there. All very recommended! It was a great trip.

Salobreña looks interesting from a-far because it is on a cliff and it has castle. But in reality it is not an interesting town. The castle is just simple old walls, nothing to see. The town's church is rather dull. The streets don't have flowers. No cobblestone streets. the houses are just a mess, nothing with interesting facades or fronts.
The only good thing is that 1 km away is the beach, which is nice but lacked enough trees to provide necessary shade.

We visited Salobreña as the first half of a two-part stay in the region, with the second being in Granada. While we were waiting for the bus to Granada I saw people arriving in Salobreña for the first time and I was quite envious.
We loved La Roka. The room was spacious with a separate kitchen area and a lovely shower room.
Salobreña itself has all we wanted as far as restaurants, cafes, bars, seaside walks, old town (you need to be fit to walk up and down the hill - see the photo of the area) but there is a bus stop just 50 yards from the hotel and a car park right next to the bus stop.
Hostal San Juan is one of the nicest and most comfortable hotels I have stayed at in Spain. A beautifully restored house in traditional Andalusian style with lots of tiles and plants. The friendly owners made me feel welcome and were happy to answer any questions and offer information on local restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay there again.
Exceptional location and a great double room with a kitchenette.
*Certainly follow the instructions from the hotel since driving up to the hotel can be tricky if you don't have the correct instructions since it's up into an old part of town.* Free parking for compact cars is available, but limited.
Everything -- great vibe, awesome staff -- went above and beyond to cater to us -- so friendly and full of information -- great spacy rooms , exceptional clean-- comfy beds-- cl an everywhere throughout hotel -- great terrace and incredible view from 3 Rd floor terrace
Domenika & Jose are wonderful hosts. They are so kind and welcoming. They go out of their way to help with anything you need and they take the time to engage with their guests. I highly recommend staying with them while in Salobrena, it was a pleasant surprise for me.
This hotel was fantastic. The owner has remodeled an old home into a lovely, lovely hotel. Every detail is perfect. It is an excellent location in the center of the village with access to several wonderful restaurants. I highly highly recommend this hotel.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful - their young daughter's translation skills were great.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped and had a balcony.
It was close to Salobrena old town and to the beach as well as several very nice restaurants.
the great view from our room looking over Salobrena and the sea. the hotel food was very good and it’s bar where we had are lite breakfast . free parking, easy access into town centre and the beach also the to get around the Costa tropical.
The house is spotless, there are great views and vibes, and the hosts are just on the end of the phone line and are very helpful. The location is good for town and beach, and salobrena has a lot going for it.
The hotel is in the perfect location for us visiting family close by. It real
LH feels like a home from home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff are so helpful and welcoming.
Amazing view and stylish apartment in a key location right in the heart of Salobrena. The owner was friendly and helpful. The blackout blinds were brilliant as I am very light sensitive.
Everything. Amazing view of the coastline. Set in a quiet residential area. Close enough to Alumenecar and Salobrena for bars, shops and restraunts. Very comfortable stay.
