Was on the Camino del Norte so really appreciated the heated drying racks after hand washing some clothes. The location was great with lots of restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

The location cannot be beat. The room was ordinary compared to other accommodations in northern Spain. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room, so I went to the lobby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in beautiful Luarca.

It was a beautiful rural setting with a lovely private patio. A 2 minute walk down to the sea- which at low tide offered the chance to scramble over rocks for a unique experience.

Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya in the entire city. It is not touristic at all, you rarely hear other languages than Spanish. The restaurants offer the most delicious and fresh seafood , the large variety of Bizkaya and Atlantic fish and regional food. You can have a walk on the 3 moles or climb up to one of the seaside hills.
You should not be afraid of rain and a part of the buildings is empty and not well-kept, so there is some lost places charme.

Very nice harbour.
Very nice harbour. Very good beach which unfortunately was not cleaned. Restaurants sufficient choice. Restaurant Miramar was our favourite. But we have to add that we were there only 3 nights, so no chance to compare much. Quite enough space to walk and see different things.
The parking was very reasonable in the time we were there. We parked at the public carparks near the beach.

Classic fishing town slowly moving towards tourist destination.
Best of both worlds with original buildings and traditional activities leavened with excellent restaurants and amenities. Many pleasant walks both within and outside of town.
The hotel was located right in the middle of the town with room to set down bags directly outside. Free car parking is available at the Port which was a few minutes away. If you were lucky then it could have been 100m away. The receptionist was very helpful and gave up information about the local shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean and ours had a balcony looking over the square. We didn’t have breakfast but it was available in the bar.
We loved our stay at Hotel Rural Cantexos! We've spent only one night, but it was by far the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks trip in North of Spain.
The room was big, clean & the bed incredibly comfy. The accommodation has a beautiful garden & terrace, with a lovely view! It's a great place to stay & disconnect. Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but had only fresh ingredients which I loved.
It's a lovely house in an really amazing location in the beautiful port village of Luarca. A five minute walk from seafront cafes and restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk from two nice beaches. Oh yeah, and less than a 5 minute walk from a headland viewing point with a lighthouse and a little chapel like something out of Mama Mia.
The location and the flat are beautiful, clean and very welcoming! Monika and Guillermo are two very wonderful people who made me feel welcome right away, and always there if I had a question through my entire trip. Luarca is a cute village with many lovely people, lots to explore and beautiful hikes along the coast!
Room and hotel is very clean. The staff are very friendly. The location is great with very little street noise. Newly renovated bathroom is very nice. The cafe in the hotel is good. The town is delightful and exceeded our expectations. Free street parking is close by. All and all, a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful old Hotel. The room was big and comfortable. The bathtub was amazing for a good soak. There is a lovely lounge with a coffee machine, and the room has a fridge. Our host was warm and friendly even when I arrived far too early. There was a place for bikes in the courtyard.
Perhaps one of the most adorable hotels in the Valdes region. Paloma, who seems to run it was beyond sweet and helpful. The location may not be for everyone, but it’s close to the Highway. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and modern. I will certainly be visiting it soon.
Fancy apartment in one of the cutest village of North Spain. Everything is new. It's huge too: I stayed there alone, but it's will well accommodate big family or group of friends. Host is super nice, responsive and supportive! Come to Luarca!
The building (a typical "casa de indiano", with its typical decoration), the garden, the room, the swimming pool, not to mention the area/region (Luarca, and the occidental coast of Asturias). The staff was really helpful and friendly.
An excellent location especially if arriving by bus. From the hotel it's a block to the main plaza and a short walk the the port. The staff, helpful, friendly and veterans of the Camino de Santiago. Pilgrims are welcome.
I liked the staff and the general ambience. The hotel oozes charm and the food was excellent. The owners spoke good English which was a great help as few people in that general area spoke English.
Lovely hotel in rural surroundings. Beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and sitting areas in the room. Food was good too as was the wonderful service. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was lovely and despite being a budget hotel, there was a kettle in the room and a fridge with a complimentary bottle of water. A small thing but so welcome.
