Rooms were very clean and was great for the price. The hotel is going through renovations. Our room was newly renovated. We were only there at night, so the renovations did not affect us really. If you were planning to stay in your room during the day, it may be disruptive for certain guests.
This fine 4-star design hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, in the Black Forest. The Neckar cycle path runs beside the property, which offers bike storage facilities....

A cozy place with a very nice and helpful owner. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely come back here : ).

VS-Villingen is a Medieval walled city within easy driving (or train) distance of many of the attractions in the Black Forest area of Germany. It is one hour and 15 minutes from either Zurich or Stuttgart International airports.
It has an incredible Fastnacht celebration in February. Like Mardi Gras in the USA, it is celebrated during the last days before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). The parades are amazing with ancient wooden face masks and elaborate costumes representing the various regions.

I think the Dormero is a good value for money. Not used the hotel brand before, but we were pleased with our room. No sweeping views but a lovely king sized bed. The lights in the room were an interesting touch but we enjoyed these. The bathroom was adequate nothing special. The gym space was nice. Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. The overall decor initially is off putting but rooms were better than expected. All in all good value for money clean friendly and quiet
The apartment is attractive and sparkling clean. The owners greeted us cordially upon arrival. The apartment was pleasantly pre-warmed, which was most welcome in December in Germany. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bedding provided perfect warmth. It is conveniently located near a grocery store and a bank with an international ATM, and is within easy walking distance to the City Center. It met or exceeded all of our expectations and needs.
Very friendly personnel - both at the reception and in the restaurant. It seems like people are really trained and/or motivated to be friendly. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing in general.
In a 15-min walk from the picturesque Schwenninger Moos.
Breakfast was reallly good, although the restaurant in the evening is of good level.
Located centrally in the Schwarzwald area within a convenient drive time to famous and great attractions for kids i.e Badeparadies or Tree Parks.
Breakfast was fantastic and the Staff are always willing to help and professional. Offers a quite atmosphere, relaxed and a great value for money Hotel.

Just inside the walled in zone. Paid parking lot a short walk away. Lots of food and shopping in short walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is pet friendly with no extra fee. Room was very clean, and had a fan for the warmer days. A few free drinks were provided in the fridge.
I used it as In-between hotel to skip Stuttgart and be a bit earlier at the Arlbergtunnel the next day.
It's a very new hotel, and according to me had very few guests. Really nice rooms. A real nice breakfast. Even thou we seemed to be the only ones taking it.
Hosts were sp friendly and helpful. Home is nice and cosy. Getting to the parking is a little bit of effort but worth it. Garden at the back is refreshing in the morning. Surely recommend this home stay if you in Villingen Schwenningen.
Breakfast was amazing and plenty of choice for all the family. Hotel is located within a few minutes walk of a very good outdoor public swimming pool/ play area. Great spa facilities at hotel. Good location for exploring.
New fresh hotel with ergonomic rooms, clean, functional, cosy. Delicious breakfast is definitely worth its reasonable price. Attentive professional stuff offers respectful communication.
