Great location within short walk to shops and old town and overlooking the river (room with river view was great). Room was very clean and a nice size and very quiet indeed. Breakfast and breakfast room very good, again with views over the river. We stopped here on route to Munich, the old town is well worth a visit.

Beautiful location on edge of old town and just below castle. Excellent local food. Had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was the best I have ever had. Very elegant rooms.
This 3-star superior hotel is idyllically situated in the heart of the village of Mähringen, a charming district of the town of Kusterdingen.

The location and the style. The staff and facilities were some of the best I’ve experienced.
This hotel offers modern rooms and a friendly atmosphere in the traditional university town of Tübingen, just steps away from the TüArena sports complex and the Neckar river.
I liked the staff. My visit was very uncomplicated.
Fly into Stuttgart Airport, 30km away, then take a 40-minute direct train to Tübingen. Alternatively, for domestic travellers, direct trains from major German cities are available. No direct water transport services.
The most convenient airport for Tübingen, Germany is Stuttgart Airport, due to its proximity and good transport links. It's approximately 34 kilometres away, making it easily accessible for both domestic and international travellers.

Tübingen is a historical university town near the edge of the Schwäbische Alb (a low range of forested hills). The old town is delightful, with numerous pubs, restaurants, and individual shops and boutiques (very few chains). Be sure to take a guided boat trip on the Neckar river!

Tübingen is one of my favorite cities.
Tübingen is one of my favorite cities. It's walkable, has lots of good restaurants, and lots of character. Eating out can be pricey, but there are lots of places to get groceries, or fruit and sandwiches during the day, and places in town and along the river to picnic. Best things to do include enjoying a favorite beverage in the square in front of the Rathaus, walking in the Schönbuch Nature Reserve, or a side trip/hike to the village of Bebenhausen and its medieval monastery-turned-royal hunting lodge. If you like boats, you can also rent a variety of them to explore the Neckar river, which runs through the town.

Tübingen is a beautiful little town about an hour south of Stuttgart. It has one of the most extensive and beautiful Old Towns in the area. There is a large variety of shops and eateries, including a good selection for vegan and vegetarian individuals. There are natural and historical sights to see in the area. For example, there are paddle boats, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards for rent as well as hiking trails in the area. You might also enjoy some of the castle and museum amenties offered by the university. I would spend at least two days in the area.

We chose Ibis Styles because of its proximity to our son's residence and also to the city center and major locales which are all within walking distance of the property. The construction work going on in front of the hotel was a spoil-sport but the hotel ensured there was no noise in the rooms. The wi-fi and other basic amenities were available and the staff were extremely cordial, however we found that the room lacks a wardrobe and since we stayed for 11 days, it was difficult to manage out of a couple of suitcases in a small room. The food that we ate was excellent (vegan, vegetarian) although there are options to suit every palate.

The town was lovely.
The town was lovely. What was unexpected was that pretty much everything was closed Christmas Eve day and the day after Christmas (12/26). We were unaware of this tradition and may have planned a bit differently.
A small and fine hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. It is minimally furnished, but more than adequate for one night and the room was super clean. The breakfast was well thought of and the buns and cold cuts were very fresh and not supermarket goods. Public transport to the city centre and to the clinics is right outside the front door.
nice staff and great breakfast were the saving grace for the hotel. They also have a mini fridge in the halway with cold water most of the time which was great. Albpass included in the stay was convenient for doing things around but bus drivers in the area are grade A .... something, so please don't rely on public transport.
The personel is very friendly. Breakfast is simple but various enough.
The hotel faces the road, so traffic could be quite noisy in some rooms (as in mine), I imagine. The hotel is a nice walk of about 20 mnutes from the center of Tubingen. There is a writing table in a room which is very convinient.
This is a large, spacious and well appointed apartment. Any request was immediately met and the owners were very pleasant. It is in a lovely, quiet part of the old town and there is a small supermarket close by. We would always stay there again if we get back to Tubingen. (Second trip already).
Very kind lady at reception, we immediately felt welcome. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of town and as a hotel guest you can park right outside (it costs EUR 10 per day)..
Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety. And good cappuccino!
Comfortable beds, also.
The location is good. It takes just 1 bus stop to come from the main railway station to the Hotel area. There was perfect cleanliness in the room. The room was cleaned each day and towels were always fresh. Classic german-like bread breakfast. Cheaper than most of the Tubingen hotels.
The room was very spacious and clean. Yes, it’s a hotel inside a hospital building but it was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There are many buses that come close by quite frequently, making it easy to get to the city center of Tübingen.
The hotel was at a walking distance to the old town/center, the room was clean and had enough space. Also, having an hotel with parking close to the center was very convenient for us traveling by car with 2 small kids.
The breakfast was good for the price.
Wonderful location, very clean and spacious room and bathroom, attractive dining room with a beautiful river view, and a great breakfast which was included in the price. The hotel is new and modern, and the staff is helpful.
This was our second stay here. The hotel is basic but has everything you need for a couple nights. It's in a great location. Breakfast was pretty good. Parking on site or a few blocks away at other garages.
The location is close to the river and a good group of restaurants, plenty of space, clean, and a very good breakfast. Bus 22 goes to the city from outside the Hotel. Highly recommend.
Great location, convenient and reasonably quiet. The rooms were spacious and the lighting was good. I'd never stayed in the Altstadt before and it was fun.
