Alex Fritz and Frau Mueller went out of their way to help us with local arrangements and were very personable. Alex is the consummate gracious and gregarious host. The restaurant is exceptional, the best meals we have had in Germany over several trips, and reasonably priced for the excellent quality. Our room had a large balcony with a lovely view of Talheim, see photo. We also had a seating area within the room, which was a bit larger than the usual European hotel room. Restaurant and hotel are up a long stairway but the hotel provided help with the luggage.

Nice Hotel! The staff are friendly and the breakfast was good. At first I was nervous during the hot summer time there would be no air conditioning, but they have plug-in cooling unit fans basically, that oscillate, and worked wonderfully.
