Schallbach is a nice village, peaceful with beautiful nature...
Schallbach is a nice village, peaceful with beautiful nature around, perfect for long walks. It is a bit away from small towns around the area but it is therefore very affordable. There is a bus 55 every hour taking you to a nice small town Weil am Rhein and Basel in Switzerland. In opposite direction it goes to another nice small town Kandern.

You wake up with the chirping of the birds, lovely. Exceptionally clean. room well equipped, little balcony, perfect. Downstairs they have the restaurant, pizzas are huge. Easily one pizza can feed a whole family 😄 The staff is more than friendly, they make you feel part of the family. I highly recommend it.
