Beautiful gardens, good restaurants, nice shopping district for pedestrians only. Friendly people. Interesting history. Wonderfully cared for homes. The only catch: you must be sure to make reservations at the excellent spa (Hufeland Therme) at least two weeks in advance.

She helped us figure out what to do in the town and we had a fantastic time, also saving money with her advice. The hotel itself is charming and offers a lot more than just a place to sleep. It has a rich history which we enjoyed very much. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a chilled out place.

The house was spacious and clean and had all items needed for the stay. There were interesting things to do in the town and surrounding area, with our host giving recommendations.
