The grounds were pretty with lots of flowering plants growing and grassy areas to hang out in. There is a pool that is pretty as well.
I would stay here again for the price and the location I needed to be.

Amazing coffee tour and tasting experience. We spent our first day in Costa Rica here and it was a great introduction. They were very accommodating to our early check in. Nice pool area. Delicious breakfast and as a bonus you could wander on the grounds and see where the ingredients came from! Real farm to table!

I’ve stayed here before so I chose this for the convenient location (near the National Convention Center) and comfortable accommodations. I enjoy the access to the golf course where I can take a walk in nature.

Olga and Fernando were so warm and welcoming. They were really helpful in recommending things to do in the area and made sure that we were comfortable. Olga even got up to see us off when we left for the airport at 3:45 AM! Fernando cooked us a delicious breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heredia, although, unfortunately, it was only for one night. The place was very clean, easy to find, and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was terrific, as well. Such a beautiful place.
Seems like a grand hotel which has seen better days. That said, the cost of the hotel is more than reasonable. The rooms were spacious for the price.
Hotel staff provided great information for being prepared to explore San Jose and Heredia. The train is a great option (very reliable and relatively quick) to get to San Jose. Heredia is a wonderful area to walk around. Staff provided accurate estimates for taxi costs.
Breakfast was an option of white bread toast and butter/jam or cereal. Both come with a banana and coffee/tea.
Great staff. Taking into account Covid19 related problems and restrictions, all the staff gives their best to keep hotel operation as good as possible (that is the main reason for my overall rating for this hotel) If you have something to do in Heredia City, this hotel has an excellent location. It is near many restaurants, 150m from a supermarket and a car rental site, 500m from Universidad Nacional, 700m from a small mall and a bank (where you can exchange US Dollars to Colones at good exchange rate - bring your passport).
We loved the attached restaurant and hospitality of everyone. Every single staff was so kind. The view was amazing and the food was impressive in quality. We had some great wine and enjoyed the sunset. Reading other reviews for nearby places we noted that it can be chilly at night. The cabins have their own heaters which kept us nice and comfortable.
Andreas was really kind and helpful, he gave us lots of good tips on where to go (Heredia Central Market was brilliant for breakfast!) and even a lift into town.
The accommodation is really comfortable and superb value, we loved the view from the loft room. Kitchen adequate for basic cooking.
Basic shops 5 minutes walk away, big supermarket 10 mins.
I live everything about the property. If all the bedrooms would have bathrooms inside the rooms will make it more amazing. It’s a mansion turned into a hotel. Beautiful place. The hosts are the very best. It brought me back to my childhood at my grandparents mansion up in the mountains of Italy.
very unique experience. Unlike any hotel we have experienced so far. Local, friendly and educational. It was very inexpensive to use Uber to go to any close town and experience other parts of CR. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable .
Juan and Miguel super nice guys , very friendly and caring
Great to have our 3 dogs with us , place is very safe for them
Cabin is closed to downtown so food or any goods are really near
Place closed to a nice river
A very clean, comfortable and secure place to stay in Heredia. There are many restaurants and local shops nearby. Close to the different bus stops that go into San Jose etc. We enjoyed our stay, Thank you.
Every time we’re in Heredia we stay at Hotel Cibeles. We are there about 4 times per year. The rooms are comfortable. The location is perfect for what we need to do. And the staff is beyond helpful.
the super friendly couple that runs this quaint hotel, the beautiful grounds and historical details make this a super special stay. Good base for visiting nearby cloud forests and near the airport.
Maria is a very welcoming host, speaks good English and helped me to get an Uber to the airport. This is a very comfortable, quiet and hospitable place. A great place to stay near the airport.
The host was very kind and showed me around Heredia a bit. He also gifted me free fruits that I'd never tried before. Overall I had a wonderful stay at Casa Cora.
very relaxing and comfortable setting and great safe location near airports the beds were very comfortable owner and staff very friendly and accommodating
