I had been to Rossland for skiing, but had never been to Trail. I liked it as it is a blue collar town with sights to see. The walkway over the Columbia is great as was the museum. Who would have know that in 1910 that Trail had a championship women's hockey team? Had an excellent Italian dinner at Pinos. It is just a nice area and it was pleasant to not be in a TOTALLY DOMINATED tourist town such as my residence in Idaho.

I have enjoyed Trail in previous years.

I have enjoyed Trail in previous years. It has a lot of history and the view from the top of the old town is spectacular. The downtown is a bit of a mess. Many empty storefronts and many street people who, by all appearances, are drug addicted. I wasn't afraid to walk but it was noticeable. My favourite place to eat is Kootenay Kebab on Eldorado Street. Delicious food and wonderful people. It's always nice to shop at Ferraro Food store. Their selection of everything exotic is amazing!

Trail is a great small town with a decent size river flowing thru it. The people e there are very friendly too. We were looking for a non franchise coffee shop and were guided to a location right next to the river. It was beautiful spot that we would have missed ourselves had it not been for a passerby hearing us talk about getting a decent morning coffee. and

Trail is a small community on the Columbia River.

Trail is a small community on the Columbia River. A great spot for the outdoor enthusiasts with many opportunities including kayaking, fishing, hiking and golf. Great restaurants (the colander, lil-T cafe, and a wonderful downtown coffee shops, The Bridge View Cafe&Trail Coffee Co.) that are not chain/franchise-type. Hot weather so recommend finding places to cool off with a swim.

I know it was out of the Summer season as we went for the skiing at Red Mountain but trying to find somewhere to eat at night was a nightmare I would imagine that in the Summer this place is a very interesting place to visit but in the Winter not so much unless you Ski

This motel is impeccably clean and the person at the front desk (the Owner I assume?) was so friendly and helpful. I was surprised by how safe and clean this motel seemed. If I ever find myself in trail again I will be staying here! No sneaky fees, so great! The only thing I would note is that the walls are paper thin and we always heard some kind of noise, but nothing that was loud enough to keep us awake. 10/10!

In the heart of downtown Trail, right off the river and the river pathway, close to everything. Hotel looks newly renovated and everything seems new and clean. The room is well designed with a separation to living room and sleeping area. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room had a nice view of the river and of Trail’s pedestrian bridge. All and all a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was "5 stars", new extremely comfortable, large king bed, high quality mattress and bedding, terrific! The staff was friendly. We just stayed over-night and were grateful to have a good night's sleep in a great bed on a long road trip. Short stay so can't really speak to much else. A bag snack was offered for breakfast on our way out.

Beutifully renovated hotel and rooms. Rooms were so spacious and they accommodated us with our 85lbs Husky. Due to the new covid restrictions, they only had breakfast in a bag but it was enough to get us started. We had drinks at the launch while the kids were upstairs with the dog. The location is fabolous, next to the river walk.

Nice hotel. Overpriced as they all are these days. Very good restaurant on premises. Extras - laundry, workout room, hot tub on premises. Unfortunately I didn't see this in the advertising so didn't bring bathing suite. Bathtub is a great feature.

The property is located centrally, has great parking . The hotel is very clean and has a nice gym, bar etc. While the hotel did not have a restaurant, discount vouchers were given to dining establishments located in very close proximity.
