The suite was meticulous….very tidy and nicely decorated. The host has thought of everything….there is a toaster oven, toaster, fridge and coffee maker with coffee provided. The bathroom is fully stocked if you forgot anything such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. The host is very friendly and even left some delicious baking treats for us to enjoy.

The cleanliness of the property was amazing. The comfort of the beds was also very good. We arrived and had no issues at all with self check in. The parking was free and easy to find. We would recommend this place.

The Kinsol Trestle and Malahat Skywalk are nearby and should be visited. Spectacle Lake is very close and great for short hikes. If driving to/from the Saanich Peninsula, take the small Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay BC ferry.

It's hard to answer this as Malahat refers to a stretch of highway rather than a city or town but it was beautiful. The highway is quite busy most of the time and it's easy to miss your turn offs but there are a lot of U-turn areas as well. There are a few lovely natural areas/lakes/parks in the area that are great for hiking and enjoying. A vehicle is needed but it's only a half hour or less into Victoria as well.

We took the bedside lamp and put it on the kitchen table to see our food. Also, be careful with the blinds as they opened easily however, they got stuck when trying to lower them. Bring slippers, the floor isn't as clean and most of it is tile.
Thank you

I liked the view very much.
We had to keep the windows open as there was no air conditioning and the highway noise was intrusive,
I deplore the lack of hot water. I could not shower in ice cold water.

The view from our room was great, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The food, the staff and the view from the dining room were great. There is no front desk at the motel, nobody to talk to. Our room door code didn't work so we phoned the number posted for help but nobody answered. We went over to the restaurant to get it resolved. The whole place needs a good clean-up outside and around the building.
While the hotel did not meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness, I found it to be reasonably comfortable given the price I paid. The location was also quiet, which added to the overall tranquility. However, it is worth mentioning that accessing other places from the hotel required a 15-minute journey back and forth each time, as there were no nearby turns or exits. Despite these shortcomings, I believe that considering the price, the hotel offers decent value for those seeking a peaceful and affordable stay.
Staff are very helpful & pleasant. Nice Spa. Beautiful Views. Nice big Indoor Swimming pool with Windows on all sides. Excellent Covid precautions.
Have a Immune comprised family member. In advance, I requested a Table in the dinning room removed from other dinners. Hotel took note of this. Pleased that on entering the Dinning room we did not have to explain our situation every time. The 4 times we dinned we were seated at a Table well distanced from other Dinners. Much appreciated.
The Eyrie is a special place in a wonderful location overlooking the Malahat and Finlayson Arm.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and ready to help.
We were treated well during our birthday celebration dinner for two.
The standard room was modern, well-furnished and had a fine view.
The bed was very comfortable and cosey.
We enjoyed the pool though the water was on the cool side for November
Parking was available close to reception though this might be limited at busy times
Malahat Bungalow more than met our expectations. We brought food to cook, because of the photos we saw. We were not sure of what kitchenware we would find however, as our confirmation email did not list exactly. But when we arrive, we found everything we hoped for.
You could improve by listing that there are plates and cups, toaster, kettle, pans, dishsoap. We didn't use it because we brought our own. All in all, great job guys!
Loved everything about this hotel. From check-in to check-out we had a lovely time. The hotel staff had a birthday card and chocolates ready in our room as it was my birthday, so thought this was a lovely touch. The views there are stunning and it was great to see the eagles flying above. We used the pool, which was good - lovely and clean with really nice changing rooms.
Absolutely everything. Incredibly kind and helpful service, fantastic location, beautiful park-like setting. The cabins are quiet, cozy and clean - they have everything you need complete with a kitchen and table! Minutes from the Malahat skywalk, Mill Bay or Goldstream Park. Exceptional!
The owners were nice, and very responsive. The room was clean and quiet, a perfect place to relax and get work done during the day.
I had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency, and they were incredibly helpful and fair. Recommend this place if travelling on the Malahat!
A more private spot then if you would rent a room in a big name hotel room, it’s relatively calm due to the road along the hotel bungalow, generally clean, but I would expect some services and more accommodation since there is snow (carpets to put wet boots on.
Wonderfull view of the mountain and ocean and close to Malahat Skywalk.
It has big space for the 1 queen luxury room and 1 sofa bed. it has 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 on main).
It’s peacefull with wonderfull view to enjoy my coffee.
Bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean. Exceptionally friendly greeting when we checked in. Liked the fact that it was individual bungalows with outdoor space to enjoy as that made it really pleasant and easy with our dog.
The location is good. Views are spectacular! Very close to Malahat Skywalk, one of the sites we went to see.
Great little kitchen. We liked the loft concept and 2 bathrooms. The soaker tub in the room is a nice bonus.
Our room had the most gorgeous view of the water and mountains. The spa tub was absolutely wonderful, relaxing and VERY clean when we arrived, as was the entire room.
