The location was good and the looks and feels of the hotel was homey and very rustic, which we loved. Some of the staff was friendly, but the younger crowd was not. The rooms itself was big, and comfortable for a family of four. The breakfast was decent and had a few options to choose from.

The owner and his family were friendly, accommodating, and kind. They took care of our personal vehicle while we were touring for three days.
When we were ready to go to POTOSÍ, the owner even found us a hotel over here
The food was excellent the breakfast was very nice and the chef who cooked food for the dinners was fantastic!
The water for the shower was hot and there was heat in the room floors that we did not need it because it was summertime
The owners also have tours. Though we did not tour with them.
They are very communicative by way of WhatsApp
It would be good if a person spoke Spanish to visit this part of Bolivia but it’s not necessary they do speak English

Atendimento de todos!
Fly to El Alto International Airport, La Paz, then take a domestic flight to Joya Andina Airport, Uyuni (1 hour). Alternatively, from La Paz, take a bus (10-12 hours) or train from Oruro (7 hours). Transfers required for bus and train options.
The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers is El Alto International Airport in La Paz. It's the highest international airport and approximately 730km from Uyuni, offering numerous connecting flights.
Navigating Uyuni, Bolivia, is straightforward. The town is compact, making walking a viable option. For longer distances, taxis are readily available and affordable. Cycling isn't common due to the terrain. Public transport is limited, with no bus or train services within the town. Always negotiate taxi fares in advance.
The best area to stay in Uyuni, Bolivia is the town centre. It offers close proximity to the train station, restaurants, and tour agencies for the Salar de Uyuni. It's the most convenient location for visitors.

Salar is just an amazing place, a wonder the Word!
Salar is just an amazing place, a wonder the Word! Both when dry, as well as when flooded.
Uyuni town very ugly, avoid it is possible, full of dirty roads and dirt in the air, if you are sensitive or allergic, do not go downtown and stay in one of the 3 nicests salt hotels in the Salar outside town.
Best restaurant in town is Tika, in the hotel Jardin of Uyuni (nice hotel too)

No matter what season (dry or wet)you go to Uyuni, you will see amazing views. But I recommend dry season since you will have chance to see both wet area and “beautiful” dry area. And for the starlight tour, you’ll see beautiful stars without clouds!

Uyuni came at the end of our San Pedro de Atacama - Uyuni...
Uyuni came at the end of our San Pedro de Atacama - Uyuni private tour (3 days-2 nights) that was exceptional, so not much left to see around the small city except the people and plazas, although the small museum on the army base was very interesting and informative, as recommended by Chris. We stayed three nights and found the hotel clean and very well located to walk around.
The restaurant, and more specifically Chris, was outstanding catering breakfast on a jazzy note and offering delicious pizzas by evening.
Our room didn't have natural light nor a view, nor a closet, hooks nor hangers which made things a little complicated in our case, since we had some heavy luggage. Everybody at the hotel was most helpful and I would definitly recommend staying there.

Uyuni Salt Flats has been on our bucket list for years and we were super excited to visit. It exceeded our expectations and will return soon. It is easy to get around the town. If you want to explore the salt flats and the Andes it's best to hire a tour guide. We had the best 7 days in and around Uyuni. We dined at Tika, Tacuru, and local vendors. The food was delicious and filling. Our favorite places were the salt flats and exploring the Andes.

Small derelict little town which wouldn’t be as busy if it wasn’t for the world famous salt flats. However, there are many restaurants and bars to accommodate tourists as well as a bus terminal and an airport. A must if you’re in South America.
This was the only hotel I could find in Uyuni that would allow us to get some proper rest after a long night bus journey from La Paz.
We had to book a room for the night we were travelling by bus as we arrived in Uyuni at 05:30. By doing so we were able to go straight to the hotel and claim the room as check in time is late.
Hotel manager was delightful and very helpful. She also allowed us to have breakfast earlier than normal time so we could enjoy it before our flight
The owner was most hospitable. Despite the language barrier he provided directions for a currency exchange and organised a shared taxi to the airport. He also offered a heater but the bed was so warm we didn't need it. We were surprised at how spacious and lovely the room was. The hotel was very walkable to shops, restaurants and tour operators. Would recommend staying here, definitely value for money.
The room was very spacious, clean, HOT water showers and they even gave us a heater. The staff was lovely and super helpful with everything we needed. They organised an airport transfer for us for 10 BOB per person and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. After 3 days in the hinterland of Bolivia a hot shower was like heaven and we would highly recommend to stay at this place.
This hotel is the ultimate place to stay and recuperate in Uyuni after your tour of the Salt Plains. There is no reason to stay elsewhere. The staff are amazing, the hotel is comfortable and like an oasis in a crazy town. The staff could not do enough for you to make your stay any more comfortable and the facilities were just what was needed.
Room heater, hot shower, comfortable beds, walking distance from bus station, a simple and comfy breakfast of breads, eggs, tea, coffee.
It’s a basic stay with somewhat cramped spaces, but it has all the necessities for spending a very comfortable night in Uyuni before starting the Salar de Uyuni tour.
The hotel is very nice and comfortable, with floor heating and a good shower. It’s a great place to stay after a Sud Lipez / Uyuni tour. It’s well located near restaurants and cafes. There’s a laundry service which isn’t particularly cheap but they got us our clothes cleaned and dried on the same day.
We loved our stay here, it was so cosy and relaxing after a salt flats tour. All restaurants were closed during our stay due to the Bolivian census and hosts cooked us breakfast, lunch and dinner which were all delicious! Lovely hot shower and comfy beds with warm blankets.
Huge room. Very clean & modern. Cool salt-block features (e.g. tables) and artwork. While it costs a little more than some hostels, this hotel is excellent value for money. Some have commented on the distance from the town center - but it is an easy 10 min walk.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and includes an excellent pizzeria. In addition, the breakfast is particularly exceptional - everything is home-cooked! An island of comfort in the city of Uyuni. Good for a rest before or after a desert tour.
the hotel was extremely clean and the owner Cesare was very friendly and helpful.
room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. from what I’ve seen, this was definitely the best hotel in Uyuni!
this is probably the best accomodation in Latin America. They gave everything including toilet paper, soap and shampoo which is impossible in bolivia. the hot water was nice and it’s 5bs away from centre.
Large room with comfortable beds and hot water. Well located and helpful staff. Best pizza in Uyuni! The restaurant is a hub for travelers and the owners are super nice and helpful.
everything here are so nice! helpful staff, delicious breakfast, hot shower, clean bathroom, and heating. really love this place! I will choose here if I come uyuni again!
Very friendly staff, great breakfast and they even have a heating system in the rooms (this is the only time we had a heating in Bolivia). I can totally recommend.
