Super nice! The people were very kind and honest. I would like to thank the photographer in the mountain resort who returned my phone as I left it by accident. I was not able to get his name but I salute him! He ran to us while we were leaving and gave back my phone. Whoever you are, God bless your heart :)

Shahdag is a really comfortable and safe ski resort.
Shahdag is a really comfortable and safe ski resort. Lots of helpful staff. Nice ski area with all varieties of ski slopes for different levels of skiers, comfortable ski lifts. Lots of winter activities. Beautiful mountains landscapes. Several spas with pools, saunas, jacuzzi. Big choice of restaurants with very delicious local dishes.

High standard of facilities, well maintained and mostly new chairs and gondola, slopes are good enough. There are many choices of slopes for mainly Red and Blue lovers. Medics available all the time, patrolling for safety. Ski rental shops have good quality. There are many restaurant and fast food options. Variety of attractions available even if you are not skiing. Hotels are very high quality with SPA and restaurants. Easy access from Baku by car approx 2,5 hrs to 3 hours.

Shahdag is 3.5 hours drive from Baku, the neighborhood was very beautiful. only downside that there are supermarkets nearby, therefore ensure before you go there to bring all your needs specially if you will stay for few days.

I stayed there for 2 nights. I chose the hotel based on reviews on booking and the hotel really does live up to these reviews!!! I stayed on the 3rd floor, the room was spacious, very clean, the balcony are large enough to enjoy the natural lighting during the day,the location is so convenient and safe especially if you love to move around in the evening(like myself), The breakfast is variety with a good quality,the wifi was really good!! the skiing there was amazing. you can find everything you need. there is alot of restaurants and not expensive. its easy to go around via coaster, or aerial lift. you need to ask alot because no body will help to find the easy way to walk around from different places. one last thing, the dont speak english very well

Outdoor pool and its outdoor area from which you can appreciate the mountains while being under the sun (if lucky) are the outstanding element (Shahdag Spa Hotel Resort outdoor area is usually in the shadow). Very nice outdoor and indoor pool! Good Scalini restaurant at the ground floor. Well equipped gym open 24h. Good breakfast! Well located to go skiing or to trek/walk in the mountains.

I absolutely loved this hotel and it was good value for money. I had a fabulous view from my window (onto the learning slope), the restaurants were great, the room was quiet, the spa was great, staff were friendly and responsive, both housekeeping and front desk. Hotel guests can use the chair-lift free of charge to go down the mountain to the sports center and up. - Staff, was very helpful, welcoming and cheerful. An amazing experience even before we arrive. FO Manager Mr. Fariz was communicating personally with us, went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and was always in contact to make sure we are having a great time. We booked a room with the mountain view and I can say that in this hotel you can book any view coz you'll get amazing view from any part of the hotel. Cozy rooms with modern furniture. We had some issues with the heating but hotel staff provided quick help and instructed us how to use it. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was good - great variety of meals.

Everyone was friendly and nice. We got a 2 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor, it was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The view was to die for, very beautiful mountains everywhere.
