The Restaurant was great & Service excellent.
The Lounge area was also good, However it had people spaced out so hard to sit by the fire & relax.
Just a 3-minute drive from the heart of Bowral, guests enjoy free WiFi when they stay at Oxley Motel. All guest rooms feature a satellite flat-screen TV.
The staff are very friendly. When booking the accommodation, you have to realise it is very old. I thought they would have maintained it and rooms would have some mod cons. We stayed in a queen room with shared bathroom and the room didn't have air conditioning or fans. Just heating. Kept the window open all night. Had fireplaces downstairs near the bar and sitting room. Shops only a kilometre away. The grounds were nice. We sat in the car at the back of the building near the pool overlooking the escarpment. Tea making facilities on each level. No lifts, just stairs. We were on level 2. The gutters were dripping through the night (we had our window open-otherwise very musty in the room). The room had a sink in the corner, a hanging rack and a chair. No luggage suitcase rack - so lot of bending down to get items out of the suitcase. Bathroom very old but clean - hasn't been maintained. A bit smelly - need lots of air freshners. Morning was cold. Unfortunately this is not our kind of accommodation so we won't be staying here again.

The place is old but unique.
The place is old but unique. The high ceilings, the open fireplaces, the deep lounges, the books on the shelves, the drinks on the lawn. The nearby town of Roberston is small but distinctive, with a foodie/antique/art vibe.

Robertson is an excellent place to visit, especially for its food options -- Moonacres cafe, Pecaro cheese and wine bar and Mumma's Country Kitchen. We also went to Grace Native Nursery and bought some plants from the friendly owner.

Cooler country so a warm comfy room.
Cooler country so a warm comfy room.
Liked the 70's-style motel that reminded me of growing up as a kid in that era.
Basic amenities yet all that one needs.
Had good shampoo and conditioner.
Comfortable bed and luggage stand.
I've paid twice as much and not got those two things.
Easy key access and contact via messages if needed.
Bowling club next door and Thai restaurant out the front.
Some paper plates would be useful.
And bit more character around 70 's would make this motel more tempting.

Total lack of basic amenities in our room - no ‘fridge, no kettle, no hairdryer, no drawers in which to unpack clothes, no soap holder or shelf in the shower, no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, no air-conditioner or ceiling fan. The mattress protector was badly stained and the room was not sound-proof.The curtain was not blockout.
The hotel itself was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. It was decorated beautifully and thoughtfully, with an old piano and books, candles and Knick knacks at every turn. There was so much to discover! Also the multiple fireplaces and sitting areas were gorgeous. Oh! And the grounds! It felt like you were in a very expensive, very old heritage hotel. I was mesmerised!!! Incredible value for money.
Beautiful home from home for a country escape. The converted church studio had everything you could want, super comfortable bed linen, art and inspiring interiors. We enjoyed our time in the property as much as out of it. The location was perfect for Robertson and excellent pizzas were available across the road if you wanted to stay in. The country with creature comforts.
Lilyview Cottage is set on a beautiful property only a short drive from the main street of Robertson. It is incredibly peaceful and the cottage itself was perfect for accommodating family and partners, with kitchen facilities and a long dining table for communal dining. Can't recommend this place for a peaceful getaway in the Southern Highlands more!
Very much enjoyed our overnight stay here at Greengate bed and breakfast. Very private and comfortable, spacious room, warm, with lovely garden views. We walked in to Robertson for an evening meal at the pub, which provided a good meal with a very pleasant atmosphere.
This accommodation gave easy access to Southern Highlands and national parks.
I was in Robertson for one night for a party and this was the perfect base. It is within easy walking distance of some lovely little village shops and a cafe called Moonacres which I highly recommend.
Motel was quiet, clean, bed was comfy and it was half the price of any other accom I could find in town.
The hotel is tiny. Only four rooms are available in an old building. The rooms share two bathrooms, which is sufficient. We arrived by a EV and the management let us to plug the vehicle for charge overnight.
Perfect B&B for my stay in Robertson - the house, room and gardens were fantastic and close to all the Robertson facilities. The hosts were lovely and helpful and I enjoyed the breakfast.
Robertson Public House was a pit stop on a road trip. It was clean and bed was so comfortable. The pub downstairs had your classic menu and live music which finished at a decent time.
