I really liked the wide variety of places to dine and all within easy walking distance. Lovely walk along the beach and up to the viewing points. Very clean and in a great location for getting to other areas of interest in that part of Queensland. It’s a great location.

We have been regulars in Port Douglas for the last twenty years the most consistent restaurants are as follows
1.Zinc
2. Salsa
3. Iron Bar
4. Gelato place called La Capenina
Most people are very friendly and accommodating and walking along 4 Mile beach is great however if you’re a family and want to see the reef don’t let the experience be soured by the expense as you do need a bit of money however

Great family holiday destination; lots to do.
Great family holiday destination; lots to do.
Snorkelling at the reef, strolling on the beaches and in the rainforest. Hartleys crocodile well worth a visit.
Lovely warm weather; easy to get around.
Roading up to Cape Tribulation still slow and some surface flooding due to heavy rainfall whilst we were there.

Location is amazing, just a short 15-20 minute car drive to the famous Mossman Gorge - DONT LEAVE PORT DOUGLAS WITHOUT GOING TO MOSSMAN GORGE - a truly great place to swim but be very, very, extremely cautious whilst in the water - the currents are very strong in some areas of the gorge.
Port Douglas is very scenic and majestic with many beautiful beaches - most of which you really cannot swim as there are signs advising caution with the possibility of crocks and marine stingers. Port Douglas has a vast range of eateries - would definitely recommend staying/visiting.

The tropical feeling.
The tropical feeling. Beautiful plants and trees shopping was good everything was available from food to clothes. Locals were lovely and friendly highly recommend Zinc and the larger. A great Italian 🇮🇹 gelati shop owner makes his own cakes and icecream highly recommend seabean tapas bar awesome Spanish food. Beautiful Asian red on the right side of the Main Street best food ever I forgot to check everything is homemade and the owner was simply gorgeous….
The room was sparklingly clean, large, comfortable, the aircon highly efficient, with limited self-catering options, if needed, especially with the more than adequate fridge. The bathroom was roomy and towels were good quality. The room is situated in a quieter area with little passing foot traffic. Access to the resort facilities was easy and a short walk to a beach, with a short drive to the main Port Douglas beach and town centre. The option to use the bicycles provided was an added bonus.
We had wanted to visit FNQ and Port Douglas for a very long time and of course the iconic Sheraton Grand Mirage was on the top of our list for our accommodation. We have travelled a lot so I guess I have a lot of hotels to compare the Sheraton Mirage with. For us the location is magical. It didn’t bother me that it was a late wet season and we encountered a bit of rain. The beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was nice but that’s about where the compliments stop.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with driving instructions and port Douglas information. Excellent communication from booking to check in too which was greatly appreciated. Room was spacious and clean with fun decor. The air conditioning was already on which was thoughtful. Everything is there for free for a fabulous stay- towels, beach chairs, toys, books, games , even a Netflix account for the room! They thought of everything!
The spacious and comfortable house was perfect for our stay with two families. We found the beds very comfortable and the big walk-in closets practical in the main bedrooms. The pool was great for the youngsters. The location in Craiglie means that one needs to drive about 6km to Port Douglas Marina - it worked fine for us.
On check in, I got Brenda and she was excellent. Friendly, informative and helped me to my room because of the stairs.
Room was excellent and I stayed an extra night and was happy to move rooms. Breakfast staff were lovely. Great location and would certainly recommend this Hotel. A great stay in Port Douglas. Thank you
Pleasant comfortable room with good TV and WiFi. Great pool, which for a change from most Queensland hotel pools in winter was warm. There are good laundry facilities. The position is excellent being within easy walking distance from the main street of Port Douglas and Four Mile Beach and the boating wharf.
Enjoyed our stay in Port Douglas apartment at the Mediterranean. Very clean, well equipped accommodation. A little noisy sitting on the balcony as on the main road. Opposite the Sheraton Mirage and we had a nice pasta meal in the restaurant there. Good walking distance into the main shopping area.
Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners Kim & James were very friendly and provided top service. We felt at home. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Port Douglas, which makes it easy to access the beaches, restaurants, pubs and shops by foot.
The location is great. right near the 4 mile beach and about 10 mins walk from the main street of Port Douglas. There are not so many rooms in the hotel. and mine was really big and very well equipped apartments. I had all the required amenities to feel like at home.
Excellent location just off the main street (Macrossan St) in town, so easy to get around by foot.
Excellent value compared to other luxury resorts in Port Douglas.
Beautiful resort pool/lagoon, and very nice and clean rooms.
Ken and Colin were both friendly and helpful, providing useful information on what to do in Port Douglas and making the stay easy. Close to town and easy to wander around. Good room with everything that we needed.
Amanda and Peter were very friendly and welcoming .They gave us lots of tips about what to do around Port Douglas. The apartments are in a great location , just a short stroll to all the restaurants and bars.
Very well appointed and comfortable unit in a convenient location close to the centre of Port Douglas. The manager of Tropical Apartments was very obliging and helpful making for a very comfortable stay.
The apartment was exactly as the photos.
Location is perfect, walking distance to everything in Port Douglas. Bec the host is amazing, offering suggestions of places to eat and things to do.
The room was a good size, met expectations, bed was very comfortable and the view of the Lagoon pool was amazing. To know that we have this type of hotel in Australia was fantastic.
The hotel was in a great location. Overpriced for what it was but it was safe, had everything you need for a stay in Port Douglas, and offered day-trips which I used.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were also very friendly. Highly recommend to those who will be travelling to Port Douglas, in a great location!
