Pörtschach is a (touristic) village at the Woerthersee with many restaurants and bars. Excellent for wateractivities but also a good base for walking/hiking. Sightseeing options in the neighbourhood to spend some days. We had a very good dinner experience at restaurant Orathai Schiffwirth.

The whole area is perfect for any kind of vacation activity. The seeside is real alpin adria. The city is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holidays. Bigger cities like Klagenfurt or Villach with many other cultural or sport opportunities are easily accesible.

We really like the spectacular view of the surrounding...
We really like the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains around the lake. Lots of hiking trails available so it's good for those who want to go for a bit outdoor. If you are there, you have must visit Minimundus and Pyramidkogel (don't miss the slide from the top). We were in the middle of February, and unfortunately most of the restaurants were closed, in the evening (arrount 7-8 pm) the streets are empty, only a few bars were open. It was a shame that in Minimundos most of the buildings were covered with some protective stuff, so it was less enjoyable.

Also the pool and the Spa area are very nice and spacious with an excellent view and provides a lot of comfort for guests. The personnel in the reception was very attentive all time. The hotel location is perfect to visit several of the local best attractions/ places and have a good own parking area. the food quality and taste is very good.

The dock had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas and stairs to get into the lake. It DOES have air conditioning, which was nice as temperatures were in the 90’s. A beautiful hotel. The hotel gave us 1 room instead of 2, but made it right and we stayed in a suite for the first night. It also sits on the boardwalk which made a nice walk each evening. I would love to come back here.
