Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights. In December-April evenings, weather permitting, the cabins can be moved to be on the ice of Lake Inari. This property is 1.5 km from Inari Village in Finnish Lapland. A truly unique experience in a special part of the world. From booking to check-out, the process was smooth and straightforward. Atte, Alexa, and team were responsive, organized, warm, and gracious hosts, and both the basecamp and mobile cabin were spotless and well-outfitted. Note that snow suits and boots are provided for those in need at the basecamp, along with WCs, showers, towels, and space to store any snacks/drinks you might wish to bring with you. While we unfortunately didn't have time to take advantage of any of the activities, we did reserve spaces in the grill hut for a delicious meal and terrific conversation (I'd note that for those interested in ice fishing, Atte is a skilled guide). The mobile cabins themselves were wholly original, compact yet comfortable rooms on runners. They are pulled out on the ice at 8 pm and retrieved at 8 am, giving you many quiet and peaceful hours on the lake with the lights of homes and Inari town in the distance. Our evening was mostly overcast so we saw only one hint of aurora, but one can imagine the show when the sky is clear. We wrapped our visit with a delicious homecooked breakfast back at basecamp. Big thanks to our hosts for all of their care!

The units at the campground are equipped with a seating area. Every unit has a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower, while certain rooms include a fully equipped kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. At the campground, the units have bed linen and towels. Absolutely amazing time with my little one. Santa village is a 45 minute drive away but perfect to catch the Northern lights and be in nature.

Loved the location and the host (extremely dedicated and always available!).

Located in Tornio city centre, this camping offers cottages with a terrace, kitchenette and river views. Tornio Train Station is 2.5 km away. Parking is free on site.

Cottages at Camping Tornio have wooden interiors and access to shared bathroom facilities. Some cottages have a TV. Kids had so much fun here and parents were able to relax. Trampoline, pool, river, minigolf, bikes and pedal cars were great. There is a big hypermarket nearby (5-10 mins by bike, 20 mins by foot) and staff was very friendly. Being able to park the car right next to the cabin was handy.

Set a 5-minute drive from Ivalo town centre, Ivalo River Camping offers heated cottages with shared kitchen facilities in the summer time, free parking and free WiFi. Ivalo Airport is a 12-minute drive away. Relaxation options include a sauna and a terrace during summer. Everything. Location, Facilities and host especially were amazing.

Offering barbecue facilities, Naali Mökki offers accommodation in Kilpisjärvi. This campground features a garden and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. What a lovely cabin a bit outside of Kilpisjärvi! The cabin is located on a small hill with a nice view over the fells. Even the cabin is small, you find everything there you need! Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom, comfortable beds! Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.

All accommodation options at Lemmenjoen Lumo have simple décor. Showers are located in the sauna building by the river. Some rooms include a small kitchenette and private toilet. Beautiful nature, good camping, they suggested to us to change cabin to a room with no additional price, but we stayed in a small cabin and just enjoyed it!
