Beautiful comfortable spacious safari tents in huge grounds … you feel the safety of the lodge and still have the openness and solitude of the African savannah right in front of your veranda. And the best was the wonderful staff which truly went beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. We loved all of them and were sad to leave. And they have many animals on their grounds (none of them harmful) and a sweet baby giraffe which came to greet our children… we truly loved our 2 night stay in this little heaven .

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilima was just an awesome place. Easy to access, clean facilities. The food was out of this world. The staff are very friendly and accessible plus very helpful. The presence of all the chefs during meal times gave us the assurance that we were eating fresh food.

We stayed for three nights to explore Amboseli. The Kilimanjaro revealed itself on one morning, which was a great gift. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable.

Staff were excellent ( Bernard, Duncan, Griffin, Chef, Hotel mgr) Food was great, Chef was very accommodating and doled out Kenyan dishes on request. Also has good veg options. Sleep quality was good, mattress are pretty comfy for people with back problems & better than many 5 stars in Kenya. We stayed 2 nights and could do safari for a day , Bernard helped us by optimizing park entrance fees else we would have overpaid! Air Mombasa damaged our bag lock it was not opening and we had a hard time but the hotel staff were very helpful in opening. The hotel has great views of Mt Kilimanjaro and is close to the park gates, good access to get in to park and also to go out on highways.
