Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, this Bar Harbor, Maine accommodation boasts free Wi-Fi. The waterfront and various shops and restaurants are within 5 minutes’ walk. The staff were so kind and helpful. Always happy to have a chat and always smiling. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are a generous size. The free breakfast is also a nice little bonus. Not just your basic toast or cereal but full bacon, eggs, fruit, etc.

There were only snacks for continental breakfast - but the cabins had a mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a microwave so very easy to make your own breakfast. You could also make lunches for hikes.

This house was in an excellent location for us and will probably be for you too. It was only minutes from my daughter's home and you could be in the center of Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia NP in minutes as well. It's a very private setting and the rooms are very spacious. In great weather, you can enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Be aware that you enter the property from the back door. By the time you stay here, the new two-car garage will be built. You need to pull around the side of the garage to get to the back door. There's a nice turn-around so there's no need to back in or back out with your car or truck. You'll really enjoy the huge kitchen and open living room. The owners are extremely responsive and proactive. That's a good thing.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, Lindenwood Inn is located in Southwest Harbor. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The property is in a wonderful location and we were able to walk to local restaurants and shops. Our room was nicely appointed with views of the water. The breakfast area was extremely pleasant and the staff went out of their way to accommodate special food needs. A wonderful inn!

Super friendly and helpful staff, terrific snacks and amenities, breakfasts were delicious with home baked goods every day, location was perfect!
