Avevamo prenotato la family suite: la camera matrimoniale aveva il caminetto e il bagno "en suite", la camera singola era carinissima, entrambe erano molto spaziose, i letti erano molto comodi. Nel bagno abbiamo trovato saponi artigianali di Bar Harbor che abbiamo potuto acquistare in struttura per portarli a casa come souvenir. La colazione era preparata al momento dagli chef, abbiamo potuto servirci di the, caffe, succhi di frutta e abbiamo potuto scegliere tra un'opzione salata e una dolce. La sera dopo cena abbiamo potuto sorseggiare una tisana nel salotto in comune davanti al caminetto. Ci hanno fornito un'ottima indicazione su dove cenare. Brandon, al momento del check out, è stata molto gentile a fare una ricerca su dove avremmo potuto acquistare quadri come quelli esposti nella locanda.

Situated 29 km from Agamont Park, 28 km from The Abbe Museum and 29 km from Frenchman Bay, Lighthouse Cabins Maine offers accommodation set in Bass Harbor. There were only snacks for continental breakfast - but the cabins had a mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a microwave so very easy to make your own breakfast. You could also make lunches for hikes.

This house was in an excellent location for us and will probably be for you too. It was only minutes from my daughter's home and you could be in the center of Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia NP in minutes as well. It's a very private setting and the rooms are very spacious. In great weather, you can enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Be aware that you enter the property from the back door. By the time you stay here, the new two-car garage will be built. You need to pull around the side of the garage to get to the back door. There's a nice turn-around so there's no need to back in or back out with your car or truck. You'll really enjoy the huge kitchen and open living room. The owners are extremely responsive and proactive. That's a good thing.
