Finally, out of the blue, we met their Mom a vibrant and immediately inclusive way about her. During the few days we spent we found out more and more about what this family means to the community and could not help but appreciate the accomplishments they seem to thrive on creating and sharing. There is a real sense of hard work, near genius vision, love and an ability to laugh with unguarded ease.

Brenda is so down to earth and easy to talk with and we felt very comfortable and welcomed into her home. Breakfast was yummy--especially the apple crisp in cute little iron skillets! The North Face Lodge features accommodation in Lake City. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The owner greeted us as we arrived. Was helpful in answering our questions and even provided coal (there was a propane grill too), lighter fluid, and Seasonings for our dinner that night. Beds were comfy. And, although the establishment has no a/c, the night (in mid-July) cooled down quickly and the provided fan was more than sufficient.

Marco was very helpful and ensured that we had an excellent experience at the Inn. The decor throughout the Inn is warm and inviting with its multiple fireplaces, antiques and comfortable furniture. The staff member responsible for breakfast had to leave on a personal matter so Marco arranged for us to have a free breakfast at the local cafe. The food there was very good as well. We felt like every effort was made to look after us well.
