Situated in Fenchihu, 30 km from Wufeng Park and 31 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, Drizzle Tea House offers a terrace and air conditioning. Our stay at Drizzle Tea House was phenomenal, the hosts are wonderfully warm and generous and make you feel at home. Breakfast is exceptional with a tea ceremony to follow which is just serene. Dinner can be organised with the host in advance which is also recommended! The location is beautiful, walking around the tea farms at sunrise is something we'll never forget. There is only two rooms available here so it is extremely intimate and special. Highly recommend staying here, it was one of our highlights in our 3 weeks in Taiwan.

Located within 26 km of Alishan Forest Railway and 29 km of Wufeng Park, Alishan Hinoki B&B provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alishan. The B&B is located above a tea shop, the rooms are beautifully made with wood, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Large comfortable bed in our room, hot shower is great. Bathroom products are all l’occitane and replenished daily. Lots of local tea and coffee available in the room and communal area. We took the HSR from Taipei to Chiayi then rented a car from the station, convenient parking in front of the property. The bus stop to Alishan is also directly opposite the b&b so very convenient whether your driving or arriving by public transport. Really lovely and friendly hosts as well, showed us around the tea production process and tea drying which happens on the roof! There are also restaurants and convenience stores near by.

Boasting inner courtyard views, 五柳園休閒農場-嘉義市民宿001號 features accommodation with patio, around 3.4 km from Chiayi Tower. It is situated 3.6 km from Lantan Reservoir and provides a concierge service. We came here for one night, and had a great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful ! The rooms smell very good, they are clean, the beds are comfortable! The interior designs are beautiful, there is taiwan wood everywhere! The breakfast is very filling and healthy ! I recommend 😁

The owner is so kind and helpful. It was perfect. She prepared a snack for us when we arrived and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much.

Located in Fanlu, 10 km from Alishan, Zhong Ming Ju Taoyi Fang features a sun terrace, an on-site restaurant and a shared lounge. We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful location with incredible hosts. They really went above and beyond to help us, even preparing baozi for us to take with us since we left early in the morning before breakfast. The view from the patio is lovely, and there is a short (but steep!) hike up to viewing platforms for the sunrise. (PS The host speaks English if your Chinese isn’t strong.)

Set in Chiayi City, 800 metres from Chiayi Station, Green Hotel - Chiayi features views of the city. This 3-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and free WiFi. All was good. Seems like a newly built/renovated place. The room was spacious and had all the thigs needed. Even nice views.

Set in Chiayi City, 400 metres from Chiayi Wenhua Night Market, Meant to Be offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great central location. Roomy, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful

Rooms are modern and have everything you need, breakfast has great options to choose from, location is good (you can easily walk to the centre), carpark has plenty of space and is easy to get in and out, price is excellent!

Located in Chiayi City, within 1.3 km of Chiayi Wenhua Night Market and 1.7 km of Chialefu Night Market, Travel Art Inn features accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Nice room with a comfy bed. The breakfast in the morning was nice with lots of local options. Not many western choices but it was more fun trying the local fare. Good facilities and a friendly staff
