Guest house Stara lipa Tašner - free parking & kitchenette is located 1.2 km from the Pohorje Ski Resort, and 4 km from the centre of Maribor. We thank the owners for the good conditions, sunny rooms, warmth and cleanliness. Each room includes a small balcony with a table and chairs. Ksenia helped us with all the little questions - such as orientation in the city, and basic markings on the map, and was always in touch. The reception includes a cosy place to relax or freelance. We easily got from the city center by bus, the stop is near to the hotel. There is a wonderful restaurant in the courtyard of the guesthouse, with its own history and delicious traditional food.Within walking distance there are shops, oriental cuisine and incredible scenery for walking. If you are looking for comfort and peace this is the place for you. Nearby are mountains, streams, a ski resort, beautiful landscape and the opportunity to stroll in the cozy neighborhoods of mountain dwellers. We recommend.

With a garden and barbecue facilities, Rooms Beros is located in Maribor, a 10-minute drive from Maribor Sokolska Train Station. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms. I got exactly what was advertized. Pictures online correspond to the actual state. Very clean (beyond expectations). Additional "goodys" provided (like slippers: practical when going out on the tarace), toilet supplies,mini fridge in the room,additional drinking cups,...). We booked the small room, since we mostly needed a place to sleep only, but it was not too small for us. Bathroom size was/is bigger then expected (enough space even for my hubbe who is over 2m big). Confortable bed and the room was warm and cozy (since it was a December, the room was also pre-heated for us). You can feel the love and passion from the owner, who knows how to make their guests happy and satisfyed. Definately a place i will consider with next stay.

Situated in an idyllic village Jurij, Guest House Vračko is set just 1 km from the Austrian border. The rooms were very large, modern and absolutely spotless. The owners and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The attached Restaurant is well worth the visit with great wines from just around the corner and the dishes go well beyond what one can expect on a country side stay. We were a bit worried about the windows facing the road, but they are isolating well and there was hardly any traffic. Wonderful green nature all around.

Surrounded by greenery, Tourist Farm Joannes is quietly set in Vodole. It offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned accommodation and a big vineyard. Great Service, great food. Gregor was very friendly and attentive!
