I liked that there was a kitchen available for us to prepare light meals, or just a simple coffee and fika in the afternoon. Even though it is a 25 min drive into town, the drive is very calming, lots of farmhouses with small businesses to visit, most of them also have cafes - so there is always something to do. We did not have kids during our visit, but we could see that families will easily feel at home here (met a few families also during our short stay). We loved our stay so much that we even considered extending our stay - unfortunately could not get more time off from work!

Consu is a very warm host, full of great conversation and historical knowledge. Tomas the chef made the most excellent bread, pastries and granola, which filled us up for a long day biking. This is the best of private stay and warm human connection.
