This is one of the best places I've stayed in years. Akhtar and his family understand what travellers want. Akhtar is kind, generous, interesting and fun. The location is quiet and the garden is wonderful. There is much to see around Skardu and he has great advise. I ended up staying 5 nights and could have stayed much more. I made a great connection with Akhtar and I want to return next July. His friend Naeem is also a wonderful man. Dont miss this place. Special mention to Bobby the goat.
