This host is very generous it is obvious they want you to feel at home and valued guests. Eggs, bread, plenty of cereals and fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. and then the extras to make you feel really at home. There’s no shops so the chocolate, chips and biscuits are a very thoughtful addition.we wil recommend and come stay again for sure.

Two Rivers Ohakune features free WiFi and views of mountain in Ohakune. The accommodation features ski storage space, a drying room and a hot tub. Guests can enjoy river views. Perfect location within Tongarironationalpark - good start up point for one day Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Chris is really friendly. Room is wonderfully equipped.

Nastanitev Riversong je v mestu Ohakune, 38 km od znamenitosti gora Mount Ruapehu in 34 km od znamenitosti Turoa, ter ponuja teraso in razgled na reko. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and their home was very comfortable and cosy.

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. Frankie and Hugh's felt like home away from home. Marlene and Wayne were great host and made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We found the property clean, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast was good and we very much enjoyed our stay at the property.

Ranfurly Cottage is located in the historic township of Raetihi. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a private bathroom with free toiletries. What wonderfull greeting from Alison and Ron and what a beautiful accommodation. Very comfy beds, each with own shower room (small but very functional). Alsion had already setup the table for breakfast the next morning, cereal, croissants, milk, juice, butter, jams ..... use of microwave, fridge, washing machine.Gas fireplace made it very cosy and our son was super happy to have the extra TV channels to watch the football world cup. Unfortunatly only stayed one night so did not see much of outside ameneties of the village but would have happilly stayed 4-5 days extra ... specially due to such a wonderfull, welcoming, helpfull couple, Alison and Ron !

Nice big room with view of the volcano (if it is not in clouds), garden access and everything you need for your breakfast.

Free breakfast, free WiFi and free parking are all included at The River Lodge, offering spacious rooms with satellite TV. You can relax in the 6-person hot tub or in a hammock beside the river. My partner and I stayed at the River Lodge during our Christmas/ summer holiday and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The hosts are fantastic, great vibes all round! The included breakfast was delicious and we had all the amenities we needed. Well worth the price and experience away from a chain hotel. The setting is so green, relaxing and warm. We slept so well as it was so quiet. Highly recommend you stay here if you are planning to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Dani can organise a direct shuttle to/from the track for you.

Manuka Lodge Bed and Breakfast is located just 10 minutes’ walk from the Ohakune town centre. The property features a jacuzzi, free WiFi and free on-site parking. Excellent. Felt completely at home. Very helpful advice for activities in the area. Engaging but discreet hosts. Room spacious, lovely bathroom and bed comfortable. Breakfast was terrific with good options.

Built in 1912 and offering budget, backpacker-style accommodation in a charming historic building, National Park Alpine Lodge features free WiFi in communal areas and both Netflix and satellite... I liked that the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, plates and cutlery needed. The staff also worked especially hard to keep it clean, which was great, because it gets used a lot. The kitchen was big enough for several groups to be preparing and cooking food at once.
