It was very clean and nicely organised and decorated. The hosts are very friendly and nice. The breakfast surpassed our expectations, was super delicious fresh and prepared with love. A recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Smilde, De Schotse Hooglander features a garden. The property has pool and garden views, and is 41 km from Simplon Music Venue. we liked everything about De Schotse Hooglanders. The indoor space was huge, clean and beautiful and outdoors was picture perfect. Breakfast was perfect and our hosts were fantastic. would highly recommend and would love to stay again for longer

Classic European breakfast with everything you would like to have. We had a wonderful enjoyable time there. The B&B is a wonderful restored farm house that is absolutely gorgeous. The owners are on site and are wonderful people who are engaging and very informative. You can’t help but have a wonderful stay there. We would definitely stay there again.
