The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

The host is extremely friendly: she organised a great Safari for us at Yala National Park and we had an amazing Rice&Curry. The room is spacious, has a big bathroom and a little garden outside. We enjoyed our stay and had an absolutely lovely time!

Such a wondeful place to stay. The host is so helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

Featuring a garden, Green Lake offers rooms in Tissamaharama, 2.2 km from Tissa Wewa. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. We really liked our stay at Tissa Lake Resort. The owner is very friendly, he gave us info on a safari tour beforehand and when we agreed on booking it with him, he even offered us a free dinner the day we arrived. The staff also gave us a welcome drink and a 'goodbye' drink when we checked out. The room was very clean, spacious and quite modern (in comparison to a lot of other rooms we stayed at). Hot water was available and there was a mosquito net. The accommodation also has a large common area to relax and it's opposite the lake so it's in a beautiful environment. We would definitely recommend this place!

Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.
