I stayed one night at Kirinda Heaven. It’s a beautiful, family run property. The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

A wonderful host set the tone for our great stay here. On checking in we were given a welcoming Coconut which was so refreshing after our trip from Ella. The room was clean and spacious with excellent air con. We enjoyed all meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast -during our brief stay. They arranged an excellent Yala National Park tour for us at an extremely competitive price. Our driver Alim was fantastic and made every effort to ensure that we got the best value for our day. Unlike some drivers in the park, he did not rush but made sure we experienced the best day possible. As so many other have commented the host took us to the bus station and made sure we got the correct bus for our forward journey to Matara. This is a terrific place to stay and made all the better by a host who has his customer's interest at heart. Thank you - Peter and Merlinda Miles

Com vista do rio, o Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama oferece acomodações com jardim e varanda, a cerca de 4,5 km de Tissa Wewa. It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! We had such a great time with you ♥️

Oferecendo jardim e vista do lago, o Blue Sky Hotel Yala está localizado em Yala, a 3 km de Tissa Wewa e a 28 km do Santuário de Aves de Bundala. Everything was great and we enjoyed staying in this hotel. We lived in a big comfortable room on the 3rd floor with air conditioner , fridge and a big balcony with amazing view! The owner Buddika was very friendly and helpful. He managed to arrange a great safari for us in Yala national park for next day at a good price even though we arrived late. And safari exceeded our expectations, during exciting trip we watched elephants, crocodiles, varan, peacocks, buffalos, dears and even a leopard very close that is a great luck and also made wonderful pictures. In addition I would like to mention excellent service and hospitality. Buddika picked our luggage up, arranged a dinner for us in the restaurant, presented welcome drinks and always helped to solve all questions.

The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

We really liked our stay at Tissa Lake Resort. The owner is very friendly, he gave us info on a safari tour beforehand and when we agreed on booking it with him, he even offered us a free dinner the day we arrived. The staff also gave us a welcome drink and a 'goodbye' drink when we checked out. The room was very clean, spacious and quite modern (in comparison to a lot of other rooms we stayed at). Hot water was available and there was a mosquito net. The accommodation also has a large common area to relax and it's opposite the lake so it's in a beautiful environment. We would definitely recommend this place!

Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.
