The location is amazing set amongst rice fields in a rural village where you can walk to a nearby lake and pass by the friendly locals going about their daily life .Our room was so clean and modern and our host Dylan was very kind and informative,The safari organization was great. We saw a leopard cross the road right in front of us at early morning. We saw a lot of other animals to include a family of elephants. The food was also so fresh and delicious.we would definitely recommend staying here and get to feel the real SriLanka away from all the tourist hubs.

Great jungle atmosphere, you literally hear only the sounds of jungle while sleeping. The owner Tarique was amazing, helped us with everything and gave us great tips not only for Safari in Wilpattu, but also for travels around Srilanka. Also, the dinner was to die for, the best one we had in Srilanka. The location is perfect, just a short tuktuk drive away from Wilpattu national park.

This is a very private, hidden-away location in walking distance to the National Park. In fact, you can't get closer by staying anywhere else--and this means you save time by getting to sleep in during the morning. The host and owner, Leel, doesn't speak much English, but uses Google Translate to always help. The rooms have the best A/C, and with only a few bedrooms on the property, it's very private and great for bird-watching. Simple, efficient, and relaxing.

The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka having been there for 4 weeks. Arranged a safari at Wilpattu for us.

Of you are looking for a calm and relaxing place in the middle of nature with amazing food, come to this spot. However a basic accomodation, it is very clean and had al the necessities. There are options for safari, and we even got some amazing photographs of the experience after, that our guide (who knew the park so well and could tell us all about the animals!) took with his camera. We took the school bus to the junction to continue our travels at 6:15, and our hosts even provisies is with a cup of coffee before we left, how caring and nice!

Lo mejor fue el personal. A la llegada nos ayudaron a organizar el safari para Wilpattu y una visita a Thanthirinale. Además, el dueño nos preparó el desayuno para llevar al safari y nos ayudó a coger el bus para nuestro siguiente destino.

Las habitaciones están limpias, tienen Ire acondicionado y son cómodas. La cama es también muy cómoda. Pero lo mejor es el trato de sus dueños, una pareja encantadora que te hace sentir como en casa y que cocinan de maravilla. También nos ayudaron a organizar nuestro safari en Wilpattu, nuestro transfer desde el aeropuerto y nuestro traslado posterior a Sigiriya, todo de manera muy eficaz. Pese a los cortes de luz, solventaron el problema con un generador con el que tuvimoa luz durante toda nuestra estancia. Un diez en todo.
