Try all the breakfast options if you stay several days (sometimes including fresh mango slices from a tree in their yard), and it seems common to do so for weeks at a time or even a whole month. Definitely appreciated the water bottle refilling service and the bike rental. The staff are a great team aiming to please, full of smiles and consideration, and the room rates are a great bargain. Play basketball with the local club on weekends & enjoy the park any time. The wifi wasn't blazingly fast, but it was stable. Found a good book to read on their little shelf. They can advise & arrange visits to local sights.

Berty and Hilda are wonderful people really helpful with anything we needed, train, tuk tuk & tours before and after we arrived. Food was delicious as we requested genuine Sri Lankan and my husband got great cooking tips in the kitchen with dinner. They even packed our breakfast because we had a very early departure. The accommodation and their home is very clean and we felt welcome in all living areas. Thank you Berty and Hilda for a wonderful visit to Jaffna.

Offering a garden and garden view, Flamingo Villa is set in Jaffna, 100 metres from Jaffna Railway Station and 1.6 km from Jaffna Public Library. The Flamingo Villa's spot-on location in the city center, just a 2-minute stroll from the Railway station, is a winner. The staff were top-notch, well-trained, and really helpful. The WiFi signal can be a bit wobbly, but it doesn't really cramp your stay.

Very loving family with two cute children. Very tasty tamil breakfast. We were able to hire a scooter from them to explore Jaffna and the islands. For all hot shower lovers, there is no hot water. The cold shower was a welcome cooling for us, because it's always hot in Jaffna.

It is probably the best place we have stayed in Sr Lanka. The room was well maintained,large ,nice comfortable , and clean. The breakfast was good , and we enjoyed the Jaffna breakfast. Hard working and helpful staff .
