B&B Il Poggiolo biedt een tuin en gratis WiFi, en ligt in Stresa. De units zijn voorzien van een terras, een flatscreen-tv en een eigen badkamer met bidet en een haardroger. Ontbijt was in orde. De locatie was authentiek en comfortabel. Ook heel netjes.

Casa Castagna 1620 is gelegen in Mergozzo en biedt gratis WiFi, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. This hotel is a true jewel at the lake Mergozzo. The owners are present daily, at least in the evening. Everybody has been very friendly and helpful, from arrival to departure. Parking is available nearby (5 minutes walk), loading and unloading of baggage is possible in front of the hotel. The entire building (which has been orginally erected in 1620, hence the name) has been fully refurbished until one year ago and is maintained in perfect condition. A minor problem with the shower drain in our room has been fixed within a few hours. Our small dog was welcome as well and felt at home immediately. The food is very tasty, the champagne list (!) runs more than ten pages, followed by a very impressive wine list. This is a place for enthusiasts. If you want to have a meal at other places, there are many opportunities in close walking distance. We have had a wonderful week at Casa Castagna 1620 and will definitely come back. Thank you once again for making this a perfrect holiday !!!

Antico Borgo B&B ligt in het voetgangersgebied in het historische centrum van Cannobio, op 21 km van Lugano, en biedt een gemeenschappelijke lounge en gratis WiFi. We had a lovely stay at this Air B&B. Great location. Super clean and all updated. We were on the top floor and had a nice terrace. Easy walk to shops/restaurants. Fabulous breakfast. Comfy beds and nice linens. But the BEST thing was the innkeepers. Chiara and Francesco were so friendly and helpful. A truly rare find - do stay here if you have the opportunity. You won't regret it.

Ratto del Gallo ligt in Stresa en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op het meer. The room, the view was fantastic! Orsetta the owner gave us all information about the things to do on the place! The breakfast was delicious every day something new, something suprise! We will come back for sure!

Cascina Canée ligt in Angera, op 27 km van Villa Panza en 38 km van Monastero di Torba, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een terras. This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!
