Warm and inviting. We felt more like family than tourists. The meals were a foodie delight, locally sourced and delicious. Our host was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The house was beautifully decorated and full of light and laughter.

Loved the shower size and evidence of covid measures in place. Really like the wee dining room to make tea etc. The bed was comfy and room warm. TV had loads of channels. Breakfast was lovely...you'll certainly not go hungry. Paula very friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation.

My host Pauline was so lovely and welcoming. You feel at ease as soon as you open the door. Pauline was very helpful providing local restaurants for the evening and directions for my onwards travel the following day. There is a few towns around the area so you can easily find places to eat or activities. The B&B itself is the perfect relaxing escape. It's very quiet, but surrounded by beautiful scenery. Perfect place to relax and unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was great. There's a tv and books on Ireland for entertainment. Easy to find and well sign posted.

Situated in Castleblayney, the recently renovated The Fairways, CastleBlayney provides accommodation 27 km from Proleek Dolmen and 27 km from Louth County Museum. The place is very good. The lady and her daughter are very friendly. I felt welcome. It was my first day in Castleblayney and I was blown away by the hospitality. It is a nice place to stay in and beautiful environment. The room is clean and the bed were well laid. The breakfast is top notch. Hope to visit again.

Set in Scairbh na gCaorach and only 44 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, Portinaghy House offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in Castle Leslie, the location was perfect and the lovely gentleman who owns this place gave us a lift to the wedding venue. Lovely surroundings and the room had a perfect view. Lovely breakfast,great selection of fruit, yoghurts, cereal followed by a yummy Irish fry. Thank you! Would highly recommend!!
