Offering a garden and garden view, Ardmore House is set in Clifden, 11 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 23 km from Kylemore Abbey. The bed was so comfortable, was an actual American-sized king, and had a top sheet! Food was great, host was lovely. Cliff walk was a wonderful unique feature.

The full Irish breakfast was delicious and worthy of a 5 stars hotel. The room was spacious and very well fitted out. The house is next to Clifden, Roundstone and all the trails of Connemara.

Nice breakfast of your choice. Tea and scones when we arrived. Beautiful room with bathroom and everything you need. Can highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again👍

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Carrowntober House B & B is located in Oughterard, 25 km from National University of Galway and 26 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church. We stayed here for one week as we explored County Galway. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go within one hour. Mary and Gerry are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. Mary gave us great suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. Each morning we had a hot breakfast prepared to order. We wanted a local Irish place to stay, and that is exactly what we got!
