Just 5 miles from the city centre of Oxford, The Bear and Ragged Staff offers fantastic homemade food, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. The food was fantastic. We are vegetarians and we were well catered for. I highly recommend the food. They also have policies in place that steers them in a more environmentally positive direction.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Talbot Inn provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. It is located 10 km from Blenheim Palace and features a housekeeping service. Convenient location to Oxford - the bus was right outside. The room had everything f we needed and was comfy. The breakfast included was top notch!

Ric and Nadia are delightful hosts who offer a friendly and comfortable experience. I got on great with the other guests and enjoyed easy access to Proof Social Bakehouse, river walkways and central Oxford. Will be staying here again for the next visit to Oxford.

Set 14 km from Notley Abbey, 29 km from University of Oxford and 30 km from Cliveden House, The Cherry Tree offers accommodation located in Kingston Blount. I was in room 9, lots of space, clean, comfortable with all the amenities I needed and more. Breakfast was a delight…huge selection and delicious

Offering river views, DINCKLEY COURT BOUTIQUE RIVERSIDE ROOMS - Burcot on Thames is an accommodation set in Abingdon, 15 km from University of Oxford and 25 km from Notley Abbey. We loved the beautiful location at the edge of the water. Our hostess Annette was genuinely interested and very helpful providing us with insider tips for places to visit and a very nice breakfast. We were looking for a relaxing retreat and found exactly that. We gladly would come again at any time. Don‘t change a thing!

Boasting garden views, Cranberry Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from University of Oxford. This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations! Having arrived in the dark we managed to get a glimpse of the front room. At the front door we were greeted by the lovely hosts, Sue and Brendan who took us through. The house is simply unique and very beautiful. It has 3 floors (and a basement for the hosts use only). The front room had a very home-from-home feel. Sue showed us the kitchen which was amazing - wooden beams and original wooden doors but also a very modern feel to it. She then took us up to our room which was in the roof of house so it had a low ceiling and a small window. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. We had a little heater in the room which came in handy during the night and morning especially because of the recent cold spell. Breakfast was superb, the table was laid out for us complete with homemade bread (which was a wonderful treat) and condiments, cereals, yoghurts, juice and hot drinks. It was just a case of help ourselves. We have friends in Wallingford and every so often meet up with them for evenings out. It's always been difficult in the past to find reasonable accommodation but not any more, this is now our go to place and with hosts like Sue and Brendan we couldn't have found anywhere better.

Situated in Bledington and only 28 km from Blenheim Palace, Stable Lodge at Bledington Mill features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely and spacious site, flat where we found everything weich is necessary: highly recommanded!

Royal Oak Ramsden features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ramsden. This 4-star inn offers free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Blenheim Palace. Love everything about the stay! The hotel is delicately decorated and gives a nice cosy and romantic vibe. The rooms are spacious and have a vintage feel. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back in the future!

The Three Horseshoes features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Burford. This 4-star inn offers luggage storage space. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and free WiFi. Character old Inn in the heart of the beautiful little village of Asthall, a 5 mins drive from Burford. The Inn has been tastefully restored with quality furnishings. Our room and en suite bathroom was very attractive and comfortable and led on to the outdoor eating area. Surrounded by the best of the English countryside, we enjoyed an excellent pub meal. The food was exceptional, much of which was locally sourced. The staff were very friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.
