Just 5 miles from the city centre of Oxford, The Bear and Ragged Staff offers fantastic homemade food, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. The food was fantastic. We are vegetarians and we were well catered for. I highly recommend the food. They also have policies in place that steers them in a more environmentally positive direction.

I got on great with the other guests and enjoyed easy access to Proof Social Bakehouse, river walkways and central Oxford. Will be staying here again for the next visit to Oxford.

We loved the beautiful location at the edge of the water. Our hostess Annette was genuinely interested and very helpful providing us with insider tips for places to visit and a very nice breakfast. We were looking for a relaxing retreat and found exactly that. We gladly would come again at any time. Don‘t change a thing!

We loved the location, as it was a short walk to the centre of town and local pubs. The hosts Sue and Brendon were amazing. Breakfast was fresh and hit the spot each morning. Our room is lovely and felt right at home.

Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus asub Blenheimi paleest 17 km kaugusel.... Love everything about the stay! The hotel is delicately decorated and gives a nice cosy and romantic vibe. The rooms are spacious and have a vintage feel. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back in the future!

Character old Inn in the heart of the beautiful little village of Asthall, a 5 mins drive from Burford. The Inn has been tastefully restored with quality furnishings. Our room and en suite bathroom was very attractive and comfortable and led on to the outdoor eating area. Surrounded by the best of the English countryside, we enjoyed an excellent pub meal. The food was exceptional, much of which was locally sourced. The staff were very friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.
